Watching the Iowa game has anyone else noticed that the Tebow leaves the game in ambulance headline has been scrolling across about every 30 seconds. It's getting ridiculous. They probably have all available resources heading to that hospital.

Please let the language filter to its job. Thanks.

Really? Can't say that?

This is a family site. We have posters on here who are 10-years-old. If the filter is catching it, it's for that reason. No biggie - please just let it catch it.

If you've seen the hit, him being held overnight shouldn't be a surprise. He got leveled, and thats putting it lightly.

This.
totally blindsided. And the back of his head hit the knee of another player on the way down. It really snapped his neck forward. I'm guessing that's when most of the damage was done.

In a way, thats kind of weird, because it doesn't seem like anyone has ever had a square shot on him. Until tonight.

Well it wasn't the hit that knocked him out. It was just a freak thing that his head happened to hit a knee on the way down.

Why was he even in the game at that point?

It was pretty early in the 3rd quarter when it happened.

You know he's got to put up some stats so it doesn't look too rigged when they give him the Heisman. :jimlad:

Just saw that play for the first time... Was that guy ejected? He threw himself headfirst at Tebow's head... Dirty play
I'm pretty sure the concussion came as a result of Tebow hitting his head on the guy's knee. The helmet to helmet contact wasn't that bad and didn't warrant an ejection. He maybe should have been ejected because he celebrated while Tebow wasn't moving.

So you prefer two hand touch?

Do you want college football to turn into the No Fun League? I bet he didn't know Tebow was hurt. And frankly, i'm glad he got his **** rocked.

I'm as happy as anybody that he got rocked. I guess I just hate celebration on the field when it isn't warranted. The guy ran full speed at a stationary quarterback who didn't see him and knocked him out. Now, if Tebow got up immediately I'd be fine with a chest bump or two but the guy acted like he was such a bad *** for doing something that most college football players could do in that situation. It's the same thing with Kennard Banks. He makes an a tackle after allowing a catch then acts like he made the world's biggest hit.

He left his feet and went for the head, he had a clean shot anywhere he wanted and he went helmet to helmet, thats not clean.

He did the same thing LJ did to Tony Moeaki. I doubt you'll find many folks who agree with you.

Besides, Tebow will probably just rub his hands together really fast, touch the back of his neck, and be fine.
