If you want to e-mail the Big XII with your displeasure of the review booth unaccountability (screw jobs), the Big XII conference told me this morning to e-mail '[email protected]'

Here is what I e-mailed to the BIG XII this morning.. I had to re-write and tone down my initial thoughts.

Dear Big XII,

The integrity of the Big XII officials are in questionagain. After seeing the incorrect calls that have come from the reviewbooth in Oklahoma State game today with Iowa State and the Kansas state versusIowa State game earlier this year. One of the main functions of the reviewbooth is supposed to correct incorrect calls or review calls in question on thefield. It sure questions why such obvious errors are occurring which result inthe Conference having to issue apologies.
The slap on the wrist of on official seems to bemeaningless versus costing a football team (Student Athletes, Coaches, andAdministration) a major infraction which has resulted in the outcome of a game.

The Athletic Director from Iowa State is correct thatsomething needs to be done to clean up the politics with in college football. Iapplaud him for standing behind his Coach and Team. The conference can onlyapologize for terrible mistakes such as these just so much.

I am not sure of the best way to change the process, butsomething needs to be changed with the review booth officials to bring aboutaccountability.

Please have the Conference decision makers examine andmake changes to the review booth officials accountability for their actions.

Your consideration of this request, would be muchappreciated.

My personal opinion....it won't matter and they probably gave you a dead email account. Maybe I am wrong but I doubt it.

With the amount of typos in that c/p job, are you sure it didn't come from a KState fan?

A couple of thoughts here, aimed at being constructive:
1. I hope you had a proofreader look at that, although I hope you fired them if they left it as is.

2. I notice that you didn't offer a single suggestion. As a reader, I file that letter in the circular in once I'm done laughing about it and passing it around the office. It's the perfect example of something easy to ignore and worth ignoring as a receiver.

I already e-mailed JP. Which led to the presser on Saturday. I've done my part.

No, the font was fine in my e-mail; it just did not copy well from my e-mail....

I agree that e-mails will probably not accomplish much, but something needs to be done to correct the review booth accountability....

Suggestion...follow the correct protocol for overturning a call on the field. Does it really need to be mentioned?

Here's mine for what it's worth...

Dear Big 12 Conference,

Replay officials are supposed to have conclusive evidence in order to overturn a call. It seems Big 12 replay officials do not follow this protocol, rather do whatever they feel like for other motives.

The call at the end of the first half of Oklahoma State vs Iowa State appeared to be made correctly on the field. Multiple camera angles seemed to back up the call on the field, yet the replay official took it upon himself to change the outcome of the game against he protocol he is supposed to follow.

I would hope an Athletic Director is not punished severely for pointing out the incredibly obvious. It looks very bad of the Big 12 if their primary function is to squash obvious truth. When your business is squashing the clear truth, you've defined yourself as a tyrant.

Thank you,

They may have followed the correct protocol. We don't know, and we don't think so, because it affected our team.

As a suggestion, they could have the replay officials present the evidence they used to make their call. That puts everything on the table, but still doesn't matter, because one side will say it's correct, and the other side says that they got screwed.

On a side note, once we put this one to bed, I hope we can dig into the Big 12's role in the Kennedy assassination. It was in Dallas, after all.......

Dear Big XII,

We've seen enough. Your officials incompetence and blatant bias for and against certain programs is a detriment to the integrity of collegiate athletics. Get your collective heads out of your ***** and fix this.
