Thanks guys.

Who brews it?

Aside - went on a trip through Colorado last week. Wife was very upset we hit New Belgium on a Sunday when they're closed. Ended up at a place called Coopersmith's in Ft Collins. Good stuff - however I recommend staying away from the jalepeno beer.

It's Leinenkugel stuff. I'm looking forward to visiting the Leinie lodge later this summer. http://leinie.com/summer_shandy.html

Question for everyone though. Is it available on tap anywhere?

I know this is supposed to be about beer, but you really can't beat a good gin and tonic during the summer.

Landshark with lemon & lime wedges is pretty good. Sam Adams seasonal sampler packs are good to have on hand as they have a little something for everybody.

I'll take Sunshine Wheat from New Belgium any time of the year. In the summer, it is the best chilled in an ice water bath, and consumed shortly after a long bike ride. MMmmmm....

IPA's are the way to go. Lucky U, Single Wide, something really hoppy.

I also enjoyed Sam Adams Noble Pils; I'm a little wary to try popular beers, I'm always looking for the diamond in the rough, but I really enjoyed this beer. Kind of a spring beer but it was hoppy enough for my summer tastes.

I can't believe Summer Shandy is so popular... I mean, I get it if you secretly like the taste and buy it for your wife/girlfriend so that you can have a few every now and then, but to openly declare your love on a sports board is crazy... I'm waiting for you all to start declaring your love for blue raspberry vodka.

I've never had this beer (and I've had lots). I take it that it is fruit flavored?

It's basically half lemonade and half leinenkugels. I believe it started in Wisco bars where they were mixing lemonade and leinie's, and then leinenkugels started bottling it. I had the original homemade version last summer when my wife's sister ordered me one (her friend was the bartender) in a House bar in Milwaukee. (House bars are bars on the corner that look like they are houses... It's a weird phenomena)
