Rasir has already transferred schools once. I'd be surprised if he did it again before his SR year. New coach or not.
Yeah I’d say so. He’s already transferred once and he does like it here. With COVID still screwing up visits, I don’t think he’s even contemplating transferring again.
Have to wonder about the other transfers. Perhaps they'd need to talk to the new coach first to see where they fit.
Maybe the same with the freshmen. I think of how much Diante Garrett thrived when given the right path.
I laugh when people say Leath messed things up. He wanting JP to interview others instead of just hiring TJ. He didn’t say “don’t hire TJ”, he said “do your job and hire the best candidate”. If JP still thought it was TJ, then great, but he didn’t.
Why not, he’s got a lot going if he stays. No matter the coach, he’s the leader of the team, upper classmen, All Big 12, guaranteed starter, ton of min, can play two more years, not a bad spot.
Kind of. Prohm in Year 2 matched our best record In decades. Then his ability to manage a program came into play. It’s really too early to know on TJ imo.
The donors that support a TJ hire must also open the checkbook for his staff. TJ can hire recruiting. He can hire tactical/ X&O guys. But the GM skills, leadership, and culture need to come from the HC. Jamie is close enough to know, but also close enough to be blind.
Yeah, I have my apprehension about him also but whoever they decide on I'll support.
This was my understanding from what we heard the first go-around. Leath wanted Pollard to go through the process, and Prohm ultimately won the job after interviewing well.
Chances are that Tim Buckley would come with him. Kevin Kruger too. He is the son of Lon. Seem solid. The other Coach is native to the Vegas area. Good recruiter it sounds like.

I'm still anticipating the football team losing those last two games and not getting into the Big 12 Championship game but hoping they at least get a decent bowl game.
My best bet is Coach Prohm will be given another year to right the ship.
The very few posters suggesting this have to be trolling. We went winless in the Big 12.
