He was probably guessing USC and not VCU. But still pretty lucky, as there's no way in hell he "picked" this. This was just guessing or "luck of the draw." There's no way a sane person would have picked this Final Four.

I don't see how he did it without going "eenie meenie miney mo" the whole way. Who would waste one of their 10 chances to get THAT Final Four?

Somehow picked the final four right but had Louisville to the Elite 8, definitely just luck.

Why wouldn't you? If you have ten chances, why not use one on something completely different. That pick would set you apart from the crowd.

After you make that bracket, you probably just assume that it's a waste. But once the tourney develops, you start watching more closely, because there's an off-chance that it actually happens.

I can understand the UConn, Kentucky, and even Butler (which I think he would still be unsure about). But not VCU.

Somebody's bitter that they aren't going to win the $10,000.

UNPOSSIBLE.

He was probably the joke of his pool before the tournament started. And now... Roll tide.

picking VCU to win it all is pretty much a wasted bracket 99.99% of the time. Thats phenomenally lucky. He's probably a VCU student/fan i'd guess.

Just looking at the bracket, I counted up 18 teams that I felt had a realistic chance of reaching the Final Four. With just 10 chances to get them all included, I didn't think it was worth a "joke" Final Four. I don't know anybody who would make that pick, unless they only felt like maybe 10-12 teams had realistic odds of reaching the FF. Otherwise it's a waste of a chance to get it right with teams that you think might actually get there.

There's that too
