What I found interesting was that most voters perceive Oklahoma as a tournament team (and progressing upward?), while by the same token they view TCU as not, and regressing.

Both teams are 18-11 and 6-10.....TCU has scored 133 more points than they've given up, OU 97.

But one is probably in, and the other is probably out.

This is why I'm not a college basketball writer, because I don't get it.

I said the same about OU, I don't understand why they are "in". Their record just doesn't look like a tourney record to me at all... And I think their last 2 games are KU and KSU. Guess they have a chance to play their way in anyway.

I'm glad you guys don't have a vote if you can't see that those Hield and Young kids will put that team on their backs and carry them deep into the tournament.

Fickle voters. Nice to see that we are benefiting from "reputation votes." Does this mean we are starting to be treated like a blue blood?

I still think our problem is "immaturity." Tough for true freshman to play a full season, especially against veterans on other teams. Tough physically and emotionally.

And tough for us as a team as none of our starters, even the three seniors, have ever played together before this season, except for practice and Cap City League.

Weak, weak bubble. Indiana has a shot at 15-14 (with admittedly better wins than OU, but with worse losses too).

Holy crap, Indiana went 1-12 in a 6 week stint in the middle of conference play......and that's a tourney-worthy resume? Just because they beat Sparty twice - who, apparently, walks on water according to the NCAA.

I'm not complaining, but I find it odd that we are consistently seeded higher than KSU in most of the tourney predictions as well.

Well, if we think our guys are inconsistent.....KSU lost to Marquette and Tulsa (!!!!!) in November, and managed to beat George Mason by 1 point home. They then started conference play at 0-2 before catching fire.

Those first two losses happened right before Wade went down so I'm sure he was playing really tense in anticipation of the injury.

Name them? K-State has two awful loses, aTm and Tulsa. That's why ISU is rated higher in some minds.

Texas Tech away, Kansas State away, Mississippi away. You beat us on the road. Do you have a better road win?

I won’t complain if Kansas State is seeded ahead of us. But there’s a reason we are slated higher right now.

OU, oSu, Texas, ISU, WVU, Baylor - all away victories. Lost at Ku and TxT (without Wade). Ole Miss is 9-7 in the SEC.

No one brags about wins at OU, OSU, or West Virginia this year. Iowa State has also won at OU and OSU.

Iowa State is clearly the best or second best road win for Kansas State.

So no, you dont have a better road win than @ Tech or @ Ole Miss.
Why do you claim Ole Miss is a better win that @ Baylor and @ ISU? Bracketmatrix has them both higher than Ole Miss. And ISU beat them head2head. They're also the same seed line as OU who you poopoo.

Marquette is not a bad loss at all.

I have no problem getting the love that we're getting. So far, we haven't lost to anyone not projected to make the tournament and we have some really good road wins. I guess I'm used to us getting bounced around in the polls after losses. The committee seems to really be looking at the whole season and not reacting to the last few weeks. It's throwing me off.

11-1 against a Top 10 nationally non-conference schedule is really helping them out.

They probably need 1 more win though. Can't finish 0-3 with one of those losses being to West Va or Ok State on Wednesday night in KC.

Iowa State and KState have very similar resumes actually. Similar number of big wins. Iowa State with bad losses to Arizona and vs TCU. KState with bad losses @A&M and Tulsa. The metrics favoring ISU by a decent amount all across the board is probably the deciding factor for now... though we need to halt a poor trend.

Weird flex trying to diminish the Ole Miss blowout road win. That's a Quad 1A win right now. Shame they got screwed against Tennessee last week.
