Can anyone make heads or tails out of this. Has KF said he's not in the running? Hard to separate fact from fiction here.

yes he is out of the running. thats if he was even in the running at all. Michigan has money to get someone way better than KF. so im sorry hawk fans living in imagination land thinking of national championships and big 10 titles, but your once agian doomed to a 6-6 record, or even worse......

he really is a lawyer? maybe he should move to Iowa City (if he already doesnt.) he can make a lot of money having an office there. I know of 14 U of I football players who will be needing one soon...

But what's the date/time on that? Can't tell when it was posted...just that it was updated early this morning.

It wasn't until later yesterday that the rumors that he pulled his name (still no proof of that) came out.

This could be something or it could be an article that is a day late.

Rumor has it that they low-balled Ferentz with something like a $2 million dollar offer. However, if they can't get Miles, they might come back with a more substantial offer.

Tom Dienhart of The Sporting News is still saying that KF is the front-runner for the job.

Coaching carousel: Will Ferentz go Blue? - NCAA Football - Yahoo! Sports

Because Dienhart is an expert at who's going to take which coach. The guy still has sour grapes when JP had the balls to go away from his "expert decision" and chose Chizik over Kelly (to which he's still ****** and still considers Chizik to be the worst hire of last season). How ironic would it be if Michigan hires Kelly? Convinced Kelly's coming to ISU, but doesn't, then is convinced Kelly's not going to Michigan, but does?

This guy will get about 1 out of every 5 right with his brilliant guesses. Correct me if I'm wrong but this was the guy that was talking Barry Alvarez to Miami last year...among other scenarios that never happened.

Ferentz will not be offered at Michigan unless they get a lot of "no thanks" when they start offering their job (which they have not done yet). Les Miles will be offered the Michigan job first after the SEC Championship.
