So last night the lady and I were talking before going to sleep and she asked me the question that no guy really wants to answer: "is there anything about me that you would change?".

First thing that went through my mind was that it was a trap, because no girl wants to hear "Well, WHERE do I start" and hear a list of the things that annoy me about her... so I just kept saying "nothing, you're perfect" which is a complete BS response as everyone knows.

SHe kept hounding me for some reason and said that I needed to come up with one thing that I would change about her... so, because I wanted her to shut the **** up so I could go to sleep, I said "I wish you were more generous with foreplay"... I said that a bit more directly, but I had to clean it up for message board purposes... anyways, she flipped out on me and "couldnt believe that I would say something like that" even though it was pretty clear that my comment was dripping with sarcasm.

She got so mad that I was sent to the couch for the night. It was especially horrible because it really isnt a couch, it's a 4 foot long love seat. What did the woman expect when she asked a question like that? if I answered honestly she would have likely broken up with me...

So last night got me thinking, what are some of the things that have gotten you sent to the couch for the night? I'm sure there are some pretty good stories out there...

Honestly sleeping on the couch isnt punishment for me. Gives me a space all to myself with no snoring. Win.

You should have said, "Well after really thinking about it, the only flaw you have is in your choice of men."

I would never answer that question. They are really asking you to flatter them, not actually answer the question. You have alot to learn grasshopper.

She is probably like my wife. Its only funny if it pertains to your imperfections. Anything her-related is off limits. Its an awesome time.

Yeah my couch is pretty comfy, it's like a vacation! Next time she asks though, lie. Lie like you're the lyingest liar that's ever lied.

I think the only time that I've slept on the couch is when one of us is sick. She knows that even when we fight, I'm sleeping in the bed. If she wants to sleep separate, then she can go to the couch.

Also, if I'm not in bed our dog takes my spot and snores loud. That may be part of it too.

I have never slept on the couch. Didn't know that one person could ask the othe person to leave for the night.

I think one time she got so mad that she slept in our extra bedroom.

yeah, I wish i could make her sleep out there if she wants to sleep separate... but **** that woman can hold a grudge, and so I try and mitigate the best I can by just accepting her demands whenever possible

This is the only part of being homosexual I can understand. Not having to put up with women holding a grudge.

She will leave if shes mad enough. She gets madder if I dont come out and get her and appologize. If I leave she doesnt come get me. Its great. Honestly its better for us if I go out there and sleep. If we sleep in the same bed when arguing it gets ugly. Sometimes walking away is best.
