I think the 'water in the beer' argument is a red herring either by those with little imagination, or those jealous 'cause when they tried to smoke a lefty in the shower, it kept getting soggy and going out.

Exactly. What's so hard about this? My shower has ledges at the far end of it away from the shower head. Set it up there, no chance of water/soap/etc getting in. This is where canned beer is key. Don't want to run the risk of a bottle falling from that height.

The only thing I can't figure out in this thread is how people are getting so much water in their beers. You don't hold it under the ******* shower head. If you can't figure that out, you don't deserve the gloriousness of a shower beer.

Thinking back to when I was in high school, I don't recall ever having any kind of ledge that was deep enough to hold a can of beer at the far end of the shower where I wouldn't have to worry about water getting in. These are the normal plastic or fiberglass shower/tub combos that you normally find in Lowes, Home Depot, etc. Any place on the edge of the tub is suspect because it's too low, and there is only like a 1/2" ledge around the top of the shower.

Mine's got fiberglass shelves molded in for setting my soap and shampoo (and my wife's soap...and other soap...and other soap...and shampoo..and other shampoo...and conditioner...and other conditioner...you get the point) on. Pretty nice setup.
