I think it's much more than just going against your morals when you're harboring, celebrating and not punishing rapists.
Fair enough. But the point still stands. This happens because of the ridiculous amounts of money being thrown out there and how quickly that money gets taken away when you stop winning. I really don't think any of these coaches go in thinking that this is the proper way to act, but when you're huge paycheck relies on performance of the team it's hard to take a stand.
So to me, all investigations and punishment needs to happen at the University level, not the athletic department level. The university has less to gain with cover ups and a whole lot more to lose when things go wrong.
