Really fun read! It was great seeing him on stage and he really added a lot of energy (not that we needed too much help) to the crowd. I've always felt that a really strong way to retain and expand support from our alums is a big weekend down in KC. That energy and excitement is just so magical. I hope more of our marquee sports alum get more visibly engaged with the base and athletic events. I wonder if Sage's son is the athletic type? A legacy recruit for the future? :)

That was a fantastic read. Sage is almost as good of a writer as he was a QB.

And a fantastic ambassador of Iowa State as well.

I don't mean to be that guy, but isn't it a "rite of passage?" I haven't read the article yet, so I don't know if it is an intentional play on words or anything.
Yes, it's supposed to be rite.

And, love Sage. Would like to see him back with ISU in some capacity. He does a good job as color commentator, but you can't replace Eric.

I got my picture taken with him along with getting his autograph during halftime of the TCU game. Very nice guy
