Whos goin? Senior night, highs in the 50's. We need to show this team our support. And Thanksgiving should not be an excuse. My in-laws have Thanksgiving that night, but my and I wont be showing up until 10..... Sorry but ISU football is priority 1 and Im already stuck going to Minneapolis next weekend with her mom's family and going to the Iowa game with my father-in-law:swoon:

The CyBeast crew will be there with our famous tailgate chili!

Ha and we got people ******** on here about a 2 hour drive!

You live in Bondurant! What the hell do you know about making long drives to Ames on game days? Maybe you should just keep quiet regarding things you know nothing about.

I've got an idea for you - this Saturday instead of driving to Ames at your normal time, why don't you plan on leaving about 2 hours earlier, then drive to Clear Lake, turn around, and drive back to Ames. After the game, drive to Clear Lake again, then turn around and go home.

This will give you a rough estimate of what a lot of fans do 6 or 7 times every fall to watch ISU football. And there are quite a few fans who drive much farther distances than that. Hell, 2 guys I have tickets with come from Chicago (one of them has been to the last 4 games in Boulder too), so don't try to lecture us on "going the distance" for our alma mater.

Section CC will be represented. Best part about highs in the 40's is your beer doesn't get warm. And its mystery beer weekend... throw in your worst beer, put a garbage bag over the cooler, cut a slit, reach in and drink what you get!!! Its one of my favorite weekends to see who can find what!! GO Clones and be proud of your Seniors, they have done some amazing things in their time with us!!

I lived in Eastern Iowa for 3 years and drove to and from on gameday. I lived in Mason City for 2 years and drove to and from on gameday. I also have to drive to the in-laws after the game Saturday, a 2 1/2 trip. I know what its like!
