For the people still mad what’s really the downside. If your right we will finally get this monkey off our back and not have to worry about him. If you’re wrong we have good basketball.

None of the coaches really seem to be can’t miss guys so is either option really that bad?

No offense but people ***** all the time on here about things they can’t change.

Kaluma is from Texas. I believe he is at Prep School in Las Vegas. So playing at Iowa State will have the bonus of playing in Texas 4 times a year.
Yeah I’m not putting our chances at landing him at 0. I’ve been quite vocal about how if TJ could land him here, it’d make the transition for fans a lot easier.

Have to know how to play fast and slow and have to be able to feed the post and shoot the 3. How hard is that. Steve Prohm said the game is simple, obviously not Steve for you.

That is why basketball should be compared to climbing a mountain.
Generally a slow methodical process.
But when a snow storm is about to hit, or the sun is out, time to haul it.

That is why we should know by December if TJ will work out. And its why Steve failed, his teams did not know how to play slow, feed the post or shoot the 3. And they didnt know how to play fast, but insisted on playing fast every second.

Caleb and Tre on the court at the same time is a brick layers wet dream.
I’ll hold off judgement on Tre until he plays under a coach that actually has an offensive system. Prohm letting Tre jack up a three whenever he wanted wasn’t good for his development IMO.

Caleb has gotten better. Usually there’s a big jump between sophomore and junior year and hopefully he has one.

So far it’s been discount Hoiball. Not quite as efficient on offense, no where near as good on defense. His time at UNLV lacked identity imo. With a better staff hopefully that improves here.
I mean do you expect it to be just as effective as hoiball when done at South Dakota state?

In an ultimate dream scenario where he could keep Hunter and add Kaluma and keep the best guys from the current team, I do think fans would be pretty excited. If you had Foster, Kaluma, and Hunter, that is three young top 70 recruits. Probably wishful thinking but still fun to think about.
