They are just in as a reference underlay for that package. It's common to do that. First phase is purely utility relocations.

Yea, every other reference point said "not in this phase" or something of that nature, so I was somewhat curious as to why.

I hope so too since it might protect the video board a little better.

Anyone else concerned about the new sez videoboard being able to hold up to the wind. All those people underneath. I think this is tragic planning in the making. Then what will stop the wind from taking out the nez scoreboard.

May want to forward your thoughts to the company doing the actual building, I'm sure they haven't thought of that.

If the SEZ gets destroyed by a tornado we're asking for it by naming our team the Cyclones. We should change our name with the groundbreaking of the SEZ. I'm thinking Iowa State Lake Bison as the obvious choice.

I'm also worried about a strong west wind blowing the press box over into the stands.

Just make sure you're not located in front of one of those dangerous flags that fly at the top of the stadium. Never know when a strong east wind could topple one...
So my options are get crushed by the press box or impaled by a flag. :wideeyed:

It's ridiculous to worry about such things.

On gameday there are tens of thousands of game programs, literally everywhere in the stadium, which can provide a nasty paper cut and potential infection.

Crushed by press box, impaled by a flag, paper cuts from the game day programs..what sort of sick stunt is our athletic department trying to pull? I'm emailing Pollard.
