Refund from ESPN+

Hey man, don't get me wrong, get your refund. Speak your mind. It's probably a great release, but that's all it is. Nobody's going to be reviewing those chat logs for complaints about how ESPN did the Big 12 dirty.
For one, it's not like you were even chatting with someone from ESPN. They're going to use a third party for all of the support on a streaming service, like that. So even if it did get to a manager, it's not going to be an ESPN manager.
Second, service calls like that get categorized and catalogued when they are resolved. That's how the data is consumed. I guarantee you there is a resolution category called "Refund due to technical difficulties". I doubt there's one called "Refund due to technical difficulties and anger about ESPN'S role in breaking up the Big 12".
At best, you're going to have an "other" category where the CSR could type in all of your other thoughts, but given the choice between doing a bunch of typing and clicking "Refund due to technical difficulties" which do you think the CSR making little money and taking call after call after call is going to pick?

So, like I said, I'm sure it felt good to get it off your chest, and there's value in that, but if you think anyone at ESPN is going see your words, much less care about them, well I'm sorry. That's just not how it is going to happen.

You are absolutely correct unless there is an anomaly, which ESPN+ just gave us the perfect opportunity to provide if we make it one — assuming that everyone else experienced the technical difficulty I did and the number of Cyclone fans signed up to watch this game I think might have.

To me it shouldn't be about a refund as much as it should be about letting them know that people are p****ed that they can't get their **** together on streaming.

Everything I've heard has indicated there has been multiple issues with ESPN+ streams in the past, going back several years. This isn't a one-time thing.

Don't put content on a platform if you can't figure out the technology to make it reliable!!!

No wonder they want to kill streaming. Maybe because they are too damn stupid to get it right and they likely know someone else will??

Except you're counting on a large number of Cyclone fans contacting the company that ESPN + has contacted for a refund. And that in addition to asking for a refund, they also voice their displeasure in ESPN for their role in breaking up the Big 12. And that the CSR, who has a strong possibility of being an overseas employee, is going to understand your complaint and categorize it as something other than "refund due to technical difficulties". And that there are enough of these complaints that when the report comes out on all of this week's ESPN+ games, someone in ESPN'S Business Intelligence department is going to take notice and say "Whoa! This is a big deal!"
How likely do you think all of that is to happen?

I'm not trying to **** on your idea. I hope lots of people do exactly what you are suggesting. I'm just saying that you're most likely spitting into a hurricane.

I’m sure the CSR making $13/hr you complained to will relay your complaints to the ESPN execs.
Right.

Please let Amazon prime merge with Fox in the future to just make it ala carte. The Fox crew is 100x better than the bozos espn trots out like junior Golic and Beth Mowins.

I bet that the KU game will not be on TV broadcast. They do not show losers. so keep your ESPN+, also if you got the $8/mo package you can look at the new Disney+ $35-$40 movie broadcasts.

I missed the first 2 minutes of the last 3 minutes of the game, so saw the final plays. Sage Rosenfels did a good broadcast job.

Agree on Sage and his humble correction on several occasions of his partner’s lack of understanding.

For those like me who had technical difficulties at ESPN+, you can get a full refund as I did through chat or calling by help.espnplus.com Letting them know they have also destroyed college football and upset a fan base that sells out 61,500 in football and 15,000 in basketball was a nice side benefit.
Lay off the sauce dude

Thats why I had my RADIO READY TO GO WHEN THE TECHNICAL DIFFICULTIES ENSUED......

As far as a refund all I can say is FORGETTABOUTIT....I will just eat that measly six dollars a month I paid for their streaming service.....AND REMEMBER GO CYCLONES!!!!!

A friend of mine responded to a guy who said he lost a couple hundred dollars playing poker by this.....HELL I HAVE SPEND MORE THAN THAT ON A GOOD WEEKEND DRUNK!!

How many more of our games will be on ESPN+ this year? I guess my question is it worth keeping?

Considering it happened at exactly the 3 hour mark, I’m sure some idiot scheduled the time slot for precisely 3 hours and the feed cut off. Like scheduling your DVR for exactly 3 hours for a college football game. Nobody does that or you’ll probably cut off the end of the game.

Nah. Go ahead and **** on that idea.

Taking up a grievance with the lowest person on the org chart is BS and expecting results is nonsense.

Person should go yell on Facebook....
