I always have that feeling that we can be the leader for a lot of recruits, then one school comes in and messes it up for us. Like Florida.
No. Its saying he's not committed to us for us. he would be committed because he doesn't have his ideal offer.
Seriously? That's a bunch of ********. Do you realize how many recruits can say the same thing?
What's billshit? If multiple recruits "settle" it doesn't mean they're not "settling"?

Meh, he may have interest, but that doesn't mean much. Our best point guard ever wanted to go elsewhere, but didn't regret a thing by the end of his career. I don't think this changes anything.
They may, and they may not. A sub 6' guard isn't an automatic take, even if he is clearly a good player. I think Coach Prohm can find a way to use him well, but the Florida coach may not. Even if they offer though, I think we're in as good of position as we can be. From there, it's just a matter of what the kid really wants to do.
One interesting aspect of this is that it sounds like Florida is after another sub 6' Memphis PG in Alex Lomax, a PG that Memphis is also going after
I've invested way too much time/energy in high profile recruits that don't end u going to ISU. It just makes me annoyed at the situation and also annoyed at myself for getting carried away with what teenagers are doing for their basketball career. Hope we get Harris, but not holding my breath.

Florida and Memphis seem to be the leaders with Lomax. I don't know how close to a decision he is but it wouldn't hurt for him to drag out his recruitment through the fall.
Florida is also in on a ton of different point guards right now so I wouldn't think it's a big concern for us with Harris for now. One thing to note though is Florida's current sub 6 foot point guard, Chris Chiozza, is also from Memphis. Not sure if him and Harris have a relationship but just throwing that out there.

If I am being honest. I don't think anyone is anything other than calm. Honestly I see a bunch of people just talking about it.
I don't fear Florida. I think Harris will end up at ISU. Prohm continues to recruit him hard, harder than anyone else, and has been for awhile.
I coulda sworn he already had a Florida offer?
