But then Iowa State would miss on him, that'd be tough. Are you implying that he isn't awesome now?Maybe they should offer him the max now just in case he turns out to be awesome.![]()

If you think Kawhi wasn't great coming out of SDSU you are a crazy person. And I'm not even going to touch what you are implying to make sure this thread doesn't end up 6 pages down a rabbit hole![]()
okayKawhi was great at SDSU -- do not get me wrong there.
But he wasn't one of the five best players in the world.
Guys drafted into certain franchise and coaches staffs and with certain teammates (for fit, system, and culture reasons) just tend to come closer to their potential than do others. I'm not sure Steph in Minnesota turns into, well, Steph with two chips and two MVPs.
Look what Rondo was with the Big Three around him compared to since then, just to provide one instance, versus the value the Spurs get out of second-rounders.
Just watched highlights of his Vegas games. This kid just keeps getting better, similar to Wigginton last year. I really hope they land him. He is dynamic.
1) Not 5'10"Tyler has the ability to beat any defender to the rim and finish with a variety of moves which will translate to the B12. To complement that he has long range with his 3 pt shooting which doesn't allow players to sag off him on the perimeter and allow him to play right away.
Last night ESPN listed him as 5'10" (though he is small body wise) at this point which should ease any height concerns especially as a PG.
Harris would be a blast to watch/root for in Ames as an ultimate heat check player. ALL IN on the TH bandwagon, the faster he takes his official the better.
With or without shoes?Jesus how short is Fran.
1) Not 5'10"
2) Finishing at the rim probably won't translate to the B12. Monumentally different than AAU.
3) Still super-duper want
I stood next to him in an elevator at the hotel I was staying at for the Big 12 Tournament and it didn't seem like he was shockingly short. I'm 6'2" for reference.Jesus how short is Fran.

1) ESPN listed him as 5'10". Listed height is always up for debate but notable. Whether that is actual height he did appear significantly taller than when I first heard his name (5'6") and saw his highlights. Tyler was the smallest player on the court but it wasn't an issue in last nights game.
2) Totally disagree, Harris consistently was getting to the rim in his AAU tape, very quick and was able to get his shot off against Top 20 Ranked Posts using a variety of release angles. I believe his shot w/range will translate. He'll be able to score in the B12.
3) Yes (thumbs up)
