He and his family grew up big hawk fans. Gf and I are good friends with his cousin. Awesomely, one by one each person in the new generations of that family have been ending up at Iowa State (I'm sure more now that Hunter will be playing for us). He visited Iowa and felt completely blown off by their staff. Kirk told him he could walk on and wasn't going to offer him. After his recruitment blew up with his performance at the Elite 11 camp, hawk coaches tried to reinsert themselves in his recruitment, but he was so turned off by his initial visit that he blew them off. Huge **** up on Kirk and co's part

I love watching signing day on ESPNU and on the bottom line ISU just says “2 recruits in the ESPN top 300” instead of “best recruit #123 RB”

One thing about having the Cyning Day event now is that the "early enrollees" won't yet be here. It was fun to see Breece Hall in person last year.

Surprised ISU didn't get him, but it doesn't mean he will not sign later. I wonder if CMC is after anyone for the late period. Is there going to be anyone left in the late period to grab? I can see how someone that was thinking they could get a better offer might wait until there was less guys to choose from.

There could be any number of reasons he hasn’t signed yet. Could have just decided he wanted to sign on his mom’s birthday or something. Not gonna assume anything, not gonna worry about it,

Yeah, it is only one guy, still I bet CMC has something figured out to fill any scholarships available. I would be a lot more concerned if he was one of the DL.
