McDonald's coke is definitely very good. However my favorite is the Mexican coke, or any coke for that matter, in a glass bottle(freezing cold). On the flipside, anyone else find the drinks dispensed from the freestyle machines tastes "off"?At McD (or I assume CfA)

I like RC too, and get when I see it. But I don't know if I think that because it is better or just a hipster/rarity and "not part of the big two" thing...
For the record, otherwise I prefer Coca-Cola over Pepsi.
Best sour for mixing drinks. Period.Squirt is amazing.
That's it!We used to drink that at our house occassionally. Hadn't thought about that in a long time until your post!

I personally miss New York seltzer. I remember as a kid riding my bike across town to get a cold bottle at the local Hy-Vee. loved some black cherry. Another one I really liked, as a young adult, but don't see anymore was Stuart's orange cream or cheery cream soda. That **** was like crack.I actually really like trying “craft” and classic or regional brands of soda.
Cola is the one category where most of them suck compared to big boy Coca Cola but I’d easily give RC second place.
Virgil’s is #1 cream soda for me. That brand seems to be growing like crazy. Orange cream is good too but rootbeer just average.
Frostie Vanilla Root Beer is #1 root beer. (Not really that vanilla) There are a ton of root beers better than big brands though.
Best lemon lime I’ve had is actually the Whole Foods 365 store brand. 7up and Sprite are absolutely terrible borderline undrinkable compared to this perfection. They are only 67 cents and I have one on my block. The Cherry vanilla is good too, like most the cola is terrible though.
Ruby Red Squirt does, but it can be harder to find.It would be better if it had caffeine
This just seems so odd to me. My oldest daughter prefers cans to plastic also.Plastic bottle anything tastes off to me.

I remember watching Ellsworth CC in the RC Cola Bowl a few times at the dome. The UNI dome used to have RC and Diet Rite at their concession stands. I haven't been to the Dome in 6 or 7 years so I don't know if that is still true or not.
I saw it briefly at the west Ames Hy-Vee a few years back. It wasn't around for very long.I think you can still get a remake of the NY Seltzer. Can’t remember where I saw it recently.

A soda or herpes?Trying to think back; I may have gotten it at a bodega in Washington Heights on an NYC trip last summer.
Big fan of both RC and Leonardo's.RC by the pitcher at Leonardo's in Cedar Rapids.
Good times.

New York Seltzer Black Cherry, Peach, and Raspberry were so good. As of a year or two ago it was still around, it made a bit of a comeback back around 2015 or so.I personally miss New York seltzer.
