I'm mostly disappointed how we'll never know if we lost out due to UNLV shadiness and $$$. I'll always suspect it. We know this stuff isn't that uncommon, but it feels like poor sportsmanship to assume it.

If it was a legit choice from Vaughn, I wish him the best.

If he decided to take an early payday, I hope he's a bust.

People need to stop blaming under-the-counter money deals. Chances are RV's major decision points were just the things that hinged in UNLV's way. Sucks... But we did everything we could to showcase ISU's many strengths. It just wasn't meant to be... And that's okay.

Agreed. Claiming one school paid an athlete while dismissing that we would never ever do that (get real by the way) is idiotic.

If he wants to play in front of 2000 people with his buddy and get his handler a gig...so be it. If he wants to play in the best conference in the country in front of packed houses....he'd chose iowa state.

hes 18....18 year old kids make decisions based on weird things sometimes.

I agree with a couple of others here. I think Matt could be setting up a joke here. The words may have to to be ambiguously chosen intentionally. Then RV commits, and Matt can go and say his tweet was about last night's game!

It would be just a tad classless (although hilarious) if Rashad was courteous enough to let the ISU staff know that he is going to UNLV, and Matt went and spilled the beans before the announcement. So I am still hoping this is a fantastic joke by Matt!
