I heard from a source Fred Hoiberg is eating lunch at Old Chicago today, not sure what he ordered, but my guess he is eating his sorrow away with Pepperoni Rolls. Vaughn is gone.

1. Vaughn signs with ISU
2. Vaughn doesn't sign with ISU and Fred finds another impact stud to take his place

Nope I don't. I went to Gilbert High School, a long time ago. Friend I graduated with works there. So who goes to Gilbert? I just didn't think about asking him until today when he emailed me on a different topic. I wish it weren't true and maybe he's wrong but I doubt it. FWIW.s

Either no one knows anything or he is coming to Iowa State. Why? Because if Fred knew he was going to announce UNLV someone from the team would be on their way to Vegas (Hoiberg) to try and convince him otherwise.
Amongst all the garbage insider information on the site, it has been confirmed with certainty that Hoiber is eating lunch in Iowa today and not on his way to Vegas to convince Vaugn to come to ISU. The Clones got him. Lock it up. Done deal.

No clue. They just asked him if he was going somewhere warm today like Vegas or California and he said "I wish I was going somewhere warm like Las Vegas or California but I am actually heading to Wichita." Wouldn't read too much into but figured I'd share it since it means he's not there making a final push today

Thanks for providing your source. Not sure if working at the school Fred's daughter attends would be described as "close to the situation", but it's something to consider I guess.

Felt bad for him. He sounded like someone shot his dog. Had to be a pretty rough trip back home, and now he's getting shipped out to Witchita. If Vaughn does go somewhere else that's like a triple ninja kick to the nuts.

I doubt there's much of a push left to make. Vaughn tweeted at Cliff Alexander (KU commit) that he "already know" what his decision will be tonight. I guess I kind of assumed that when he scheduled his announcement, but at least it's kind of confirmed now.

A lot of people who went to Gilbert a long time ago are still mining info from the kids there. It's normal behavior, when you think about it.
