Pretty sure there are more fans on here saying that than Carolina fans. Or maybe it's just you twenty times. Carolina makes little sense given the canceled visit. If he was going there, I have heard no logical reason for cancelling.

Heck...others are making their predictions...I say UNC...and I hate saying that!

Had myself thinking about seeing RV in an ISU uniform for a long time...hope it still works out that way!

All of this talk, about him getting paid at UNLV, and he knew he was going to go there to begin with.... yada yada yada... Don't you think he would've taken his visits, and enjoyed the process all the way threw? ISU did there best job at getting this kid, if we don't land him, it's not the coaches/fans or anyone else's fault. It was out of our hands, but Fred already has a potentially great team next year, and I'm sure Vaughn could help that team, but he could also be a ball hog and throw of the chemistry as well (I'm sure this isn't the case, just saying). Fred Hoiberg is our biggest asset, and it's just starting to pay off fellas, so relax and enjoy the next couple of years

You are all saying UNLV or UNC or KU etc. but in your heads, you're clinging to a few strands of unrealistic hope yet.

If he comes to unc it would go against all the signs... smh its isu or unlv I hope isu unlv isn't going to vie for a ship if he really wants to compete for a ship its isu... great cosch good players great system

If he doesn't pick ISU, I hope he picks UNLV. Do not want Ratfaceroy at UNC to get him, don't want him to go to KU and play ISU twice a year, don't want him to go slimeball Calipari.

You got me. I am Kaffey. I'm coming clean on Cyclone Fanatic right now. But you can call me Pete. Since everyone here at cyclone fanatic calls me Rashad's "handler" I thought I would google "Rashad Vaughn handler" and what do you know 2 of the top 4 sites are from Cyclone fanatic. Since everyone here is saying that I'm his handler, is there anything that you can post to back that up? Didn't think so.

Also, again since I'm his handler, I'm just wondering why this is all of a sudden a big point of discussion just 1 day before rashad decides on his school of choice. I assume it is a combination of the following:

* UNLV and KU trolls logging onto this site trying to stir the pot
* Cyclone fans falling for the trolling
* Insecure Cyclone fans that are getting ready to go off on my handling of rashad if my man decides to go to a different school.

Because we all know if a mcdonalds all American doesn't go to a destination school like Iowa State, then obviously someone is getting paid. And that someone is me, Pete Kaffey, the handler.

Let's be honest though folks, Iowa St needs to land a recruit like this, maybe not RV, but a high level recruit like him. It takes that first one to really open the gates for others to follow. CFH has assembled great classes, but it sure would be nice to land that one recruit that put it over the top.

Definitely don't need a whole class of one n dones, but one here and there, in addition to an experienced group, is the recipe for a NC run.

This is the problem. Don't think he cares about winning too much. He can already smell his first NBA pay day.

Yep...or on a less lofty yet difficult to attain goal...winning the Big 12! With KU getting their stars every recruiting class...makes it more and more difficult to win the league without kids like RV!

Off the wall analysis here - his girl plays for Georgetown. UNC is close to Georgetown (4 hour drive). Wouldn't be the first time a guy made a move by thinking with his, er, head.
