I won't rip him on twitter, 'cuz I'm not a tweeter. However, as long as he doesn't go all "Harrison Barnes" on us, I will be very civil. If I see 'Ol Huckleberry's face on skype, however, I'll be here on CF flaming away!!

Seriously though, I would really enjoy watching Rashad play for Fred, but if he does choose UNLV I'll wish him the best. The nice thing if he goes with UNLV, he's is playing in the MW, I really won't have to see much of him on TV next year anyway.

we could very well miss on him and get a great player anyway. THAT'S where this program is now. I don't say that dismissing the impact a player of his caliber would mean for the program....but it's not going to be back breaking if he doesn't.

^^^This^^^ Perspective. Would love to get him. But I'd rather build for sustained success than fleeting success. We'll be fine...and to be honest no one really knows anything for sure. I'm not sure RV will go from 90 to 100% certainty until he pulls the trigger and announces Saturday.

True, and I feel like a couple crystal balls changing cause others to change.

It's impressive how neutral Vaughn's camp has managed to stay in the media. When they're asking his friends trainer where he'll go you know they've got nothing.

I will just say this cause it's a message board and that's what it's here for...RV has consistently said that he will choose a school based on 1- playing for a coach who can develop his game, 2- Where he feels most comfortable, 3- Where he can win and play for a NC. #1 is clearly not Dave Rice, sorry but he does less with talent than any coach in America. #2- Who knows. #3- Pretty clear ISU has a better shot here. If he picks UNLV then it's just been general talking points. Which is probably the case.

I feel all recruits say the same thing, dude loves Vegas would be a fun place to spend a yr of college

I agree with those that say don't rip on Rashad for not picking Iowa State Saturday. It's classless and ignorant! Just wish him luck and drive on. Let us live in the now baby!! We are having a great season, and the future looks brighter then ever!

Anyone know what the UNLV fan forums are saying? I wasn't trying to troll, just see their perspective. I couldn't really find much except one that was talking about Rashad Vaughn then got sidetracked to talking almost entirely about Star Wars after some guy said Rashad is going to Iowa State because his favorite movie is Attack of the Clones.
