Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

At one point we all thought Harrison Barnes was a sure thing.
False...unless it was at the very beginning of his recruiting process before he exploded. Anyone who wasn't drinking cardinal and gold koolaid didn't think that. A lot of people wanted to deny the fact that he was never coming here, but wanted to keep the fun feeling of "hey, we're still in this thing" with the reality that we weren't actually in it.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

I'm afraid Vaughn is headed to UNLV. All three crystal ball projections put in yesterday have him going to UNLV. I think he wants money now, and UNLV is giving that to him (yes I'm playing the pay for play card). Although in the long run he would make more money playing for Fred and getting ready for the NBA.

You're right, Cyrstal ball projections are the best indicator of where a recruit is going. Those guys don't have anymore idea than any of us. When one person switches, a lot usually follow (thats been the trend anyways). Remember back in October or earlier this fall when Fred and his staff all flew out to see him, some guy on crystal ball reported it and then changed his pick to ISU and literally like 15 other people switched to Iowa State?

All I'm saying is, I don't think anyone really knows. He could pick us, UNLV, Kansas or throw a wild card and head over to Kentucky.

My money is on North Carolina. He wanted to commit there but didn't because of his parents not wanting him to, and he has unofficially visited before and I'm guessing that his parents are now onboard with his decision which is why he deciding saturday. I just kinda doubt he chooses us.

So basically these people switching from us to UNLV today must have learned that he is taking money from UNLV?? And yet they have chosen to not break that story? No way. They have no real idea...just like all of us.

Don't you think if ANYONE knew what Vaughn was thinking, they would break that story?

Yeah, I know all about psychics. In fact I almost had a psychic girlfriend, but she broke up with me before we met. Thanks folks, I'll be here all day!

I agree with the premise that you're afraid. But I disagree with the premise that you think.

Which is better than a psychotic girlfriend like I had once.

Re: Rashad Vaughn - Announcing Saturday

I'm feeling more and more uneasy as we get closer to Saturday. Any individual who puts UNLV ahead of Kansas, UNC or Kentucky is perfectly capable of putting UNLV ahead of ISU.

If it's UNLV this thing was over as soon as he went to Findlay.

Adam Zagoria@AdamZagoria 4m On the recruiting front, I talked to a few people close to the @ShowtimeMr situation who think UNLV has a real good shot here.

The CF Crystal Ball has 73% voters projecting to ISU so he is gonna go to ISU

Curious if the changes occured after the Zags blog article with Morgan saying he's been trying to get Rashad to UNLV?
It really only takes one article to change an opinion for a lot of these "experts" especially if they are 50/50.
Note: How ISU was a major favorite after his official, then some experts changed after his official to UNLV, still more changed after his announcement of scheduling an official to UNC.
Nobody, other than Rashad and his family really knows.
