Re: Rashad Vaughn

Does RV have a game Friday or does he get to watch ISU in one of two top 25 match-ups this weekend?

Also, not worried about Kentucky. I think Dante Exum is their top priority.

3 Reasons Why We Might Want Dante Exum | Kentucky Sports Radio

This article is from July. Also, I believe that many people predict that Exum is going straight to the NBA for next years draft. No college. So that also may be why KU is going after Vaughn harder than before.

Yeah I agree. But Kentucky can't hide the fact that Exum was the guy they wanted -- not RV. RV knows what is going on with them.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Not to mention their basketball facilities are top notch. They even use them for recruiting purposes in other sports such as football.

Doesn't seem to be working for them. 0-8 in the SEC.

Just checking in to see if the thread has become self aware yet. Carry on.

Isn't it just typical we're in on one of the best recruits in the nation but he just happens to be one of about 7 or so that is waiting to sign in the spring? Anticipation aside I think his mom wins out and he'll change out all colors for THE Cardinal and Gold.

We're hopefully in on two recruits who will sign in the spring.

Daniels still belives even after the UK news...
@EvanDaniels: UNLV & Iowa State in best shape RT @BrianSimpsonKY: was wondering if there was any news on where Rashad Vaughn might actually end up at?

That's because he's not trying to drive clicks and follows (from a monster UK fanbase) like Jerry Meyer.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Quick twitter search shows that #1 Findlay Prep lost tonight. Rashad did not play as he has not practiced with a knee injury. (No idea how severe)

Wonder if its a lingering issue from the sprain he had earlier in his season this year. That was his knee right? couldn't remember if it was a knee or ankle.

Re: Rashad Vaughn

Wish some of the Rebel fans were still around now days.
In a piece written on ESPN they talk about 5 teams that are in trouble. On that list.... yep... UNLV
Notre Dame Fighting Irish among five teams in trouble this season - ESPN

UNLV (3-4): Most teams suffer after losing key players. But the Runnin’ Rebels’ problems are a combination of departures -- Anthony Bennett was the No. 1 pick in last summer’s draft and Mike Moser transferred to Oregon -- and limited cohesiveness due to a multitude of new faces. Bryce Dejean-Jones (13.3 ppg) is one of just three UNLV players who logged 5.0 mpg or more last year. Dave Rice’s program is 260[SUP]th[/SUP] in adjusted offensive efficiency. That’s what happens when a team loses more than 50.0 ppg of production.

Wonder how this season turns out for them and if anyone else jumps ship on UNLV.

hmmm...........seems like Hoiberg loses about 50 points of production and bounces back just fine.
