Can you send me a link to that insert for the lawn bags? Appreciate it.
Here is the one I use. It is like 15 bucks but we got ours from the neighbor's garage sale for $2. We've used it for like 10 years. It's made out of that corrugated plastic like they make lawn signs out of. It folds flat to easily insert in the bag then folds open. When you fold the chute open it forces the whole contraption (and the bag) to stay open.

EDIT: GR8 beat me to it.

I used to work with a guy that would occasionally say, "Did I ever show you the picture of my pride and joy?"

Then he would produce this picture from the picture sleeves in his wallet:

Full disclosure - I didn't really get to trick or treat as a child. Are full size candy bars really the very best that kids hope for? Am I the only person who prefers smaller things because I get more variety?
I can't believe I didn't check on this thread on Friday night.

Resisted these on principle as $15 seem liked too much for $1 worth of plastic but know I want one!

Again, mine was used when I got it and it has lasted about 10 years in our use. Mrs. Velo damaged it last year, but it wasn't a fault of materials or construction. It now sports a little of the handy man's friend to make sure the damage doesn't make it unusable.

The return on investment is immense.

Since snowy/raining/icky and got up early I thought why not a short chair nap.

Dreamed I was stuck in the doctor’s office all day waiting and waiting for an appointment and then I wasn’t, I was home and suddenly noticed it was 4:45 and that’s the time for my doctor apt. I am thinking, oh, no I am late and traffic on Hwy 100 is terrible at this time. Plus my semi tractor trailer (what?) is in the driveway and blocking the old Porsche 924S. And, of course, my garage door opener will not open the door so I can pull the semi in. Do my usual smack the opener to reconnect the short in it’s control board (this is something I actually have to do on occasion). Doesn’t work. Go grab my short step ladder so I can reach the plugs and trying cutting the power to see if it would reset it. Each step of the ladder has several pairs of glasses and sunglasses on them. Move them. Climb ladder and plug and unplug stuff. There are lots and lots of plugs. Not working. I notice some guy in my peripheral vision is walking down my alley. Then the cell phone rings and wakes me up. Thinking it must be doctor’s office pissed at me. Nope, spammer since I don’t have a doctor appt today.

This is an awesome dream as long as I am not the one dreaming it. You must be really stressed about something.

What sucks the most about it is you probably woke up agitated and less rested than when you sat down for the chair nap.

The majority of my dreams end up with me having no pants.
Or my vehicle going backwards and no matter how hard I press on the brake pedal it just slowly keeps going backwards completely out of my control.

Truth be told I am pretty relaxed from smoking opium with the elderly Chinese gents at the local opium den. Takes my mind off of all of the yard work I can't get done.

I suppose I could go outside and shovel some of the wet leaves in the gutter. Stopped raining/snowing/graupeling and sun is actually out. Everything is still soaking wet though.

Makes me so happy that CR uses a curbside leaf vacuum truck so I don't have to mess with stupid bags.

I could take the leaves to our compost site as well free of charge, but I don't have a trailer like my neighbor. It is nice to have the 96 gallon rolling can which is sufficient for most of the other 10 months of the year.

Agree. We have those as well and mine is full of grass and leaf clippings from a week ago when I mowed/mulched it. Curb/parking lane is full of leaves that fell since then.

In the jury selection room in Denver county courthouse and guess what it smells like

Fresh mountain air. Like a dryer sheet. ;)

Nearly 73 yo dad got up on the ladder yesterday and cleared the gutters of the cape cod. Mom helped out by being a) the lookout and b) the ladder holder.

Yeah, somebody had smoked a joint and that smell is so much more pervasive than just a normal cigarette.

I got put on the jury. They could just smell the justice emanating from me.
