Wherever I go, there I am.
Yesterday had a couple non ordinary events. Started the dryer up and heard a strange sound after a second. Looked over and then heard a thud. A rat had fell from the sky about 5-6 feet from me still alive. I hate rats.

In the afternoon I decided to change spots in the field I was picking. Was driving along the end rows from north to south and saw something catch my eye about 1/8 of a mile south of me. A car that was similar color to my moms and daughters (but knew it wasn’t) headed north. Then something move in the neighbors field next to the fence. Saw a deer fly in front and try to jump over their car. Clipped the front driver quarter panel and shoot straight up in the air. Made some major air. Deer did a backflip on the way down and landed on its side and flopped in the ditch. Drove to check if it was still there since the car kept going. Couldn’t find it so i went back to work.

O rats, man! That is quite a tale.

Not unless your costume was a tunic sweater and jeans. I should have gone as something Christmasy though.
I wore a light orange shirt and my Jerry Garcia tie because skulls. This is pretty much the one:

Forgot to mention that I had a weird dream two nights ago. I was at my oldest sisters house and for some reason went into this house right next door to it. In there, this guy Says he knows me and calls me BC. He then introduces himself and when I said I didn’t know him, he informs me he is Pants. My sister did live in his hometown so I wonder if that was the deal. I have no idea what Pant’s real name is or what he looks like so it was interesting to see what why imagination drummed up. No idea why I had that dream, just happy I didn’t have any dikpiks on my phone the next morning.

You're older sister would seem quite old for Pants. Did this guy have tree trunk legs? And, was there a corgi dog anyway? If no to either I am voting impostor.

Check your fresh air intake.

One of my annual tasks when doing leaves. I brush off all of the accumulated stuff on that outside intake screen. Kinda surprised these don't get big wasp nests built in them. I run my fan 24/7 so maybe they don't like that "wind" in there.

Last night we had "trick-or-trunk" at church. About 2 dozen of us set up in the parking lot in a rough circle, with trunks pointed inward. We decorated the trunks (with the lid open, of course) and then the kids came around in their costumes with their treat bags. We had 100 kids or so, a decent turnout.

The vixen and I were dressed up as Santa and one of his elves. The kids got a kick out of it, one little girl said "Don't you know this is Halloween?" I told the rest of the adults that next year the vixen and I are coming as Adam and Eve.

pretty sure I had tonsillitis last week (following a cold) and now last night and today my neck/throat is sore and lymph nodes are swollen in odd places on my neck. Like normally I get the two right at like the base of your jaw/front of your neck right? This one is like on a vein on the right side of my neck. Like when people flex hard and you see veins pop in their neck? Weird and sore. Ugh. LM has another cold too, don't think he's been healthy since Labor Day when all the big kids went back to school.

Thinking positive thoughts for you on the tonsils front. I have had strep multiple times in the last 5 years. I asked about the frequency of this happening before they take more drastic measures. The doc said that I would have to be getting strep 3 or more times in a one year period before they would look at taking my tonsils because - just like @cyrocksmypants - it's kind of a big deal (for adults). I have never talked to a person who had them removed as an adult that thought it wasn't a major pain in the ass (or neck, more accurately).

yeah I was googling the same thing last week because I'm pretty sure this is my 2nd time this year and Google was disappointing. Was hoping it was an easy fix but nope.

You better be taking your vitamins, drinking your orange juice and getting a good night's sleep.

Oh, sorry, I almost forgot you are a new parent. Well, 2 out of 3 ain't bad...

Don't die. As a loyal son of Iowa State I am obligated to marry the widow and raise the kids if any of the guys here die. It's a Cyclone tribal thing with distinctive African roots. However, I ain't marrying DH, gotta draw the line somewhere on this tribal loyalty.

Stay healthy all, you don't probably want me raising your kids. ;)
