I still not get this 3rd or 4th year into this Chevrolet advertising campaign.....with the guy with the skinny pants talking all the time and easily excited suburbanites. Are they trying to sell cars? What is it all about? The affect on me is that I will never, ever buy a Chevy or GMC. There must be some nepotistic connection there.

Is the latest Godzilla movie worth renting? I hate sports (again) and want some escapism movies ****. On the plus side it's got Millie Bobby Brown. On the minus side all the critics hated it. Rotten Tomatoes is a critic splat but an audience a-okay.

They've been showing some OG Godzilla vs. Mechazilla this past week on Comet.

So good and I'm not kidding when I wish they'd make another one like that with people in costumes, puppets etc.

The chipmunk has been raiding sunflower seeds from the deck (the sparrows flick them all over the place!) and planting them in clumps all over the yard. So I find them and pull them out. The vixen wants him dead - mainly because he dug up some of her flowers - but I just don't have the heart to do it. May have to lure @BoxsterCy down with some key lime pie to do the dirty deed.

Had company from out of town this weekend, so didn't get a chance to watch the game live. Finally watched last night after they left......gosh, what a horrible ending. Their kicker, who had looked absolutely terrible the entire game, finally makes a kick (into the wind, no less) and breaks the hearts of Cyclone Nation.

I have no doubt Coach Campbell will use this for motivation, though.

I think this shows some of @BoxsterCy 's methods.

Other than the Great Chipmunk Purge a few years back I've been pretty tolerant of the little rodent guys in my 30 plus years here. They were just out of hand (population BOOM) that one year and had gotten into the house and garage. I wish they ate crickets. Garden at night is crazy noisy.

Speaking of dew points. Well, okay, I am always speaking of dew points. Woke up this morning with every window in the house fogged up.

Temps all over the place. Low of 50 last night. Already 70 outside heading for 85 than down to highs only in the 50's and rain the rest of the week. So another Minnesota period where you can run your air and than your heat within a 24 hour period. Pretty low on the bike weather index just like most of this month. Maybe see some drier sunny days in October but the way 2019 has trended I am guessing not.

I picked a great time to go north later this week. I'll be out on a lake all day with highs in the 40s and lows in the 30s every day. At least it is only supposed to rain all day only one of the days. The rest of the days just overcast with an occasional shower.

Two truths the last two years. (1) The weather gods HATE biking Boxster. (2) The weather gods hate ISU football. This cannot really be disputed. Science!
Or "history!"
