This was 10min into me coming in and I had ordered one beer so far. She acted really offended that I said keep it going. "Come on its just a beer"... I eventually closed it and tipped her 9 cents (rounded up). Felt like a little bit of an ******* but the whole thing was ridiculous.

I understand if I've been there for an hour or whatever but I don't close out after one beer.

Nope you did right, in places I go semi regular I'll tip out staff that I like if their shift is ending and they did all the work.

Just watched KCCI weather - so much red on the map Algona-Fort Dodge-and in between!
Classic Stop isn't the worst place to be stuck. When I was in high school the food was fantastic. Any place I can get nachos on demand is solid.

Of course that was 12 years ago so...

Not exactly sure.
Doorbell just rang. Peaked out to see who it was (I don't have a fancy camera thingie). Some middle aged dude in shirt and tie carrying some book and chewing gum. Didn't feel like it's someone here to invite me to a 4th of July picnic. Did not answer the door, **** off, dude.

You skipped out on the Johvie?

Took a chance and rode back to Humboldt. Would have been smarter to stay in the car wash for a couple of hours. Even with rain pants and jacket I got drenched. Had to pull over halfway because I couldn't see. No car wash ☹
You mean St. Joe wasn't filled with places to hide from mother nature?!?!

Didn’t listen to my “eat at subway” suggestion? Would have bought you half an hour.

Started to put something together with our newish couch that I always meant to do.
Took our Marvel bears and put a few up (just Thor, Gamora, and our new Mysterio).

Asked Z about it. She liked it, then went and put Mysterio on the floor, saying "Heroes belong on the couch, villains get the floor."
Good, good kid.
What is she now like 3 and ahalf or 4 ish.

That's where I stopped when it was so bad I couldn't see. Stood out at the lawnmower place. Not an overhang on that whole building
