My parents just told me to wake them up when I got home. They always said if they had a general idea of who I was with/where I was they trusted me. That was also probably an effect of them having to tell me to get out of the house and make some friends so they really didn't have much to worry about.
Wife thought this would work, so we tried it a couple times. Both times wife woke me up that someone was trying to break in. Second time she caught me out of a deep sleep and I flew out of bed ready to punch anything that was there. Thankfully I recognized my sons voice a couple steps from dropping him.
Was just channel flipping looking to see if by chance Monte Morris and Nuggets were on tonight. Saw the football champ game is on. Guess I should flip into it just because that is what everyone is doing? Could maybe at least put it on without the sound so I don't have to listen to the announcer ******** and SEC knob slobbering.
Glad the Bucks are playing tonight and I have a project to work on. Georges is in town so hopefully he sees the floor tonight.
Watch the channel with the sideline reporters. They are kinda entertaining and don’t seem as biased.
Les Miles doing beer commercials. Not sure what I would think if Campbell was doing them. Probably wouldn’t care for it.

Hubby has been watching Edge of Tomorrow and flipping to FB on commercials. Caught the Emily Blunt push-up scene, have never seen the movie. (Did know that is where it was from)
So, we're heading down to Texas during the 10-day window between home MBB games (20 to 29 Jan). We plan to visit my father and sister in College Station and some cousins and my aunt in the Hill Country. We want to leave on the 20th, but both groups have stuff going on and won't be available until the 23rd. So we decided to route through Lincoln & see a few granddaughters there. They have Monday off for MLK day. I got to thinking about the fact that we are leaving Lincoln on the 21st and don't need to be in TX for a couple of days...then got to thinking that it's about a 3 hour drive to Lawrence, where we could spend the night, and maybe catch a basketball game while we're in town?
Unbeknownst to me, someone else was thinking along the same lines........because when I brought it up to him, he just started grinning.

Always interested in tips for future self! Right now it's a pretty simple routine.........but it involves a warm bottle which is probably going to be a problem for future DH and I. IDK how one does drowsy but awake. I only see him drowsy when he's eating
Looks like were going to both of the bball games on Saturday now.
The van was just sitting in the garage this evening and as my MIL was walking by, the rear window shattered and broke outward. I have no idea how or why, just that I had quite the mess to clean up and a $300 bill to pay tomorrow to get it replaced.
On top of that, the wife got a new workout series and guilt tripped me into doing it with her. I thought I was in decent shape already. Boy was I ever wrong!
