My concourse sighting was Coach Campbell with his kids. And it was kinda cool - no one was pestering him; he was just a fan like everyone else. :D

I've seen him there before, too. Just talking with a few fans - but you're right, he doesn't get the mob treatment, which is nice.

That's the worst. LittleWx makes MrsWx stay in there and refuses to let me stay in her place. It can be an hour or more before he finally falls asleep. He got a VERY soft and warm blanket for Christmas. On Saturday night he gave it to her and then gave her a pillow to lay on. They both fell asleep so I woke her up and we went to bed. In the morning he came into our room "Mom I am sad that you didn't stay."

The whole drawn out getting kids to bed and too sleep thing is something that's just so different from when I was a kid. Watching nieces go through this extended reading and hand holding process to try and coax kids to sleep baffles this old man who experienced none of this when he was a kid. I don't recall my nieces getting this either. o_O

Bedtime pampering for me and little sis consisted of "Don't make me come back in here again!" My parental units were never mean, just pretty strict no nonsense small town German Lutherans.

Growth spurt?

I think Z is on one. She's eating so much!

Dr did say at his last appt that he was likely to go through another spurt 'soon'. That was on the 13th so maybe this is it? I've also read that when they are working on a new skill, it can interrupt sleep. So maybe this is part of it. It's just, he's seems so mad vs just fussing and light crying like he would do in maybe......November? Oh well, I know he did these angry wakeups another period too I just can't remember when, lol. Think maybe just before I came back to work, so maybe Octoberish. Or maybe late September, that was about the time we explored the food intolerance thing.

Nothing was worse than my sister with my niece. She had to play the same CD of music every night and massage her legs to get her to fall asleep. This niece is 18 and a complete spoiled brat now.

Different times, boys. And you are in danger of being labeled grouchy old farts!

I just keep my mouth shut. ;)

(and if you believe that, I'll sell you a bridge I happen to own)

I am interested to see how LilMissWx does because thus far as long as she has her blankie and a pacifier she is out. LittleWx...he seems to have inherited stubbornness from both of us.

Too bad my wife doesn’t need to have her legs massaged each night before bed.

So if I get lucky enough to score @NWICY's tickets again, I need to find out who all is in the neighborhood, so we can have a meet and greet. So far it sounds like these are the close ones:

KC & Lew
Rulzzz
SaraV

If there are more, LMK. I'd like to meet of all of you!

Same here, I was just told to go to bed, my 3 younger siblings were as well. This whole parents staying in the room thing is weird to me.

There's a Weber King Ranch for $500 on Facebook Marketplace. Guy at work is trying to talk me into buying that behemoth.

I just had a 4 hour meeting explaining what we did on this project to the customer director that signed the damn contract. He's been in every meeting for the last 4 months and he is just now like "so.... what have we done?". What a joke.

I'm fairly nearby. In fact I sat and talked with Lew for a short time one game early this season when KC wasn't there. Hey -- she told me to! So I know where their seats are. Ours are in 233. I post our available tix in the Ticket Exchange forum, when my parents offer theirs to us. They're downstairs.

Been waiting to hear since mid-November from a job whose description looked like I wrote it.
Kept the ad up in case I need to tailor some responses.

Read their faculty page again today. Almost everyone is an Ivy League grad. The only exceptions went to programs rated much, much, much higher than ISU.
So, closed that tab. I'll just go ahead and be surprised if they send anything other than a flush letter, and maybe surprised if they write that much.

We had a fairly elaborate routine with the first, when we had a second we knew way better than to do that again. And with all the kids we tried not to worry about having it be totally dark and quiet.
