Just finished cutting up a variety of the peppers I smoked last night . Didn't wear gloves now my fingers are all tingly.
Guys, I think I made a mistake.
Long story short, the gf is now working part time for the company that I work for. She is essentially my little minion to help take work off of me, and help get through sites better. The last 2 nights, we talked pogs for 2+ hours. Today's task took twice as long due to training. Im beginning to understand why people say dont work with your significant other.

I had a good reminder from a co-worker today: Sure the new work order/invoicing portal takes forever and has bugs (1st week) but once we get to know it; it'll go faster.
Question for my fellow homeowners/plumbers... So I discovered a burst/leaking water pipe in my house that appears to be leaking only from under my slab foundation (we could hear the water running in the pipes in the master bathroom and located the water flowing from under the foundation outside). Nothing inside is wet. I located the main water valve and turned it off. It's Friday night. I'll have to pay extra in order for any plumber to come out on a Saturday/Sunday, right? Do I just wait until Monday and rough it without water? I'm sure it'll be expensive either way, but....
Yeah, found it by accident looking at another thread. I've had stuff slip through before due to compound words or plurals. I usually go back & edit myself because I'm scared of getting a forced vacation for "avoiding the filters". Yeah, I'm a chicken.

I seriously proposed a trip to Europe just so the vixen and I could visit some of those cathedrals.....I'd be in heaven. She's considering it.....

If you're in no danger of frost, no biggie. But fill a bunch of bottles, pots & buckets first. You can "flush" your toilet without running water by pouring a bucket of water in it. Also - if it's yellow, leave it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down. Old rule of thumb from water shortage days in a previous location.

Speaking of our pushup gal Emily, the New Years goals thread seemed to more than hint that a lot of CF'ers are kinda fat and out of shape. Maybe need an ongoing fitness and healthy eating OT thread.
Emily's telling me to get my cold ravaged bod over to LifeTime this afternoon and run on the track. She thinks that's the way to kill the cold/sinus monster. Ran on Wednesday with kleenex in hand because of faucet nose, now just all stuffed up with sinus headache. Still not a true death cold, just annoying.
BTW, only 43 workout days left before Mexico. Cutting carbs and wine this month. No, really, cutting wine.
I've been working out a lot. I'll take one for the team and go to Mexico in your place.
I'd be tempted to rough it especially if your good enough friends with your neighbor to get a few buckets of water to keep the toilet fresh.

Grandma came up today to let me get some work done but mostly to play with the little man. He gave her lots of smiles and some giggles. DH has a sinus infection.........no abx yet though, baby is doing his best to crawl by Sunday and sleeping poorly again (can it really be "again" though if he only slept well for like, 3 nights??) and I had a horrible dream last night that baby boy had cancer. Woke up and he was actually sitting on DH's chest (must have been crying......again) and I just lunged over and hugged him. DH was confused. I didn't explain.
It's Friday though, so we can be lazy tomorrow. Ish.

It must have been a good night for weird dreams. I dreamt that I met a cute girl at a garage sale and she told me to write my phone number down on a piece of paper. Of course, I couldn't find a pen and paper anywhere in the whole garage sale and by the time I finally did she had left. I kept trying to write my number down and it would be wrong every time and it was so frustrating. I finally realized I was dreaming and probably wasn't going to be able to write it down correctly so I just gave up. Then somehow it was the next day and I was going to the state fair for some reason and, lo and behold there she was in line in front of me at the entrance gate. I gave her the piece of paper that had all of my incorrect phone numbers on it and she said that we could still go to the fair together. I thought she must really like me if she knows I'm too much of an idiot to figure out my own phone number and she's still willing to go out with me. We finally got through the gate and she said she wanted to go look at toasters in the varied industries building. I said that you're supposed to go to the fair to look at the animals and the tractors and the other exhibits, not to go shopping for a new toaster. We got in a big argument about it and she finally said, "If love isn't going to the state fair to look at toasters then I dont know what love is!" and she stormed away.
Three of things I am going to do in 2019: I am going to go viral. I am going to take it to the next level. I am going to acquiesce to gaslighting beyond outraged to livid.
