Do they get tired of people making wishes and throwing rocks through their windows?
Hasn't happened...to my knowledge. :)
It has been a labor of love for them. The house was actually divided into four apartments back in the 30's. When they bought it, they slowly reclaimed the other three apartments and remodeled to bring it back to more of the original floor plan. It is an amazing house, but there are some drawbacks - the house has settled, so there is a slope in the dining room; the north side is nearly 2 inches higher than the south side. They have to put shims under half of the table legs, and the people who sit on the south side of the table look like little kids because they sit so low. I could deal with that. It's the lack of central air that is the deal-breaker for me!

Speaking of our pushup gal Emily, the New Years goals thread seemed to more than hint that a lot of CF'ers are kinda fat and out of shape. Maybe need an ongoing fitness and healthy eating OT thread.

Emily's telling me to get my cold ravaged bod over to LifeTime this afternoon and run on the track. She thinks that's the way to kill the cold/sinus monster. Ran on Wednesday with kleenex in hand because of faucet nose, now just all stuffed up with sinus headache. Still not a true death cold, just annoying.

BTW, only 43 workout days left before Mexico. Cutting carbs and wine this month. No, really, cutting wine.

What's your opinion off this Emily gif?

Infatuation or Intimidation?

Both?

Gotta go with infatuation since I can’t stop watching...

Yeah, Since Halloween I have regained 9 of the pounds I lost. Time to get back to work...

I even requested salad when Mrs. Velo asked last night. I also pushed away from the table before everyone else. Mrs. Velo had my back and ate my piece of chocolate cake.

I might even try some light weights. The nerve damage in my right arm is gradually getting better (been 21 days). Moves that shot hot needle pains through my arm and fingers only cause tingling and numbness now. I are excite! I can actually reach to my right for my coffee cup now.

I think something like that might kill me. I am a lean guy except for a little belly bulge I'd like to lose. I am hoping it's just the result of no biking but could just be a tumor or an alien, we will see.

ISU's last football game was 7 days ago and the football board is in mid offseason form. Reading between the lines it seems about half of the posters in the OC thread want Campbell fired.

That thread has the acronym HCMC in it and everybody in Minnesota knows that stands for Hennepin County Medical Center.

You would think the football team went 5-8 and not 8-5

I'll guarantee if we have 3 or 4 yrs with between 8-10 wins there will be some dumb SOB on this website that will start talking about looking for a coach to "Take us to the next level" . I'm pretty sure 90% of this website isn't held to the same performance standards at work/school/life that they want to hold our coaches.
