In 15 continuous years of owning a cell phone, neither my husband nor I have dropped our cell phone and cracked the screen.

It has now happened twice in 2 months. Husband's back in August, me on Saturday when it fell out of my pocket into the parking lot. Top half looks like it's been hit by buckshot. :(

Very tired (and a little hungover) as I stayed up to watch my Packers hang on to beat the Chefs. These guys are really starting to look like contenders.

Saturday I replaced a large window for some friends, it took almost 2 hours to get the old window out (it was in a brick wall). Fortunately I measured carefully and the new window fit just right. They are happy and I am relieved.

Gonna be a throwback watching my Niners play the Packers in the NFC championship. Just like the old Steve Young/Brett Favre days.

I've cracked one, but not to badly. Had the OtterBox off as it seemed sort big in my pocket. Promptly dropped it from the roof when I was up clearing leaves off. OtterBox went back on.

Sorry for the funny Boxster but when I read that it just made me laugh especially with the little emoji you put at the end.

I've had to replace the protective cover screen on my phone twice now. It's three years old, I think?

Mandatory conference call right now where we're all muted except the presenter.
So, I thought I'd knock out some mandatory training at the same time. Of course, it involves videos it won't allow (yet) for me to skip, including how to log into the program that launched the training.

So in Massachusetts, anyone can write a bill and have their rep or senator file it. Someone has wrote bill to ban the word b!tch. By law, the bill must be heard.

Acorn squish takes way too long to bake. Jumped started it in the micro for 4 minutes. Hoping that cuts bakey time to sometime more reasonable. Ain't nobody got a hour or so for a little squish to cook.

Did find a good hack for cutting this little ******* in half without endangering your fingers. Cooked to the whole thing in the micro for one minute, softened just enough for a big chef knife to cut without hammering it with a mallet. Easy Peasy.

The microwave then oven hack worked.

By the time I left work tonight, freaking snow had covered my truck. It hadn't moved since about noon so it was nice and cold probably a qtr inch on it. Certainly not what I wanted to see.

how did it turn out? We couldn't get our CSA picked in time last week so we have a couple of those guys to use.

Cut cooking time in half and it was tasty. 4-5 minutes in microwave with halves face down than added brown sugar, butter and maple syrup and baked face up for 30 - 35 minutes. Pork took 20 plus 10 tor "rest" so had both in the oven together for some time.

Next stop butternut squash. Passed on them tonight, they only had yuge ones.

Okay, heading into the garage and putting brush and scraper back into the Audi. :( Not snow tire time yet though.

Signs it is still fall, most of the leaves are still on the trees here.

Signs winter is coming, nabbed mouse #4 in the garage last yesterday.
