The kids bathroom step stool I had as a kid was much cooler. It was a wooden step in the shape of a turtle.
The "everything plastic is better" version...

When did we collectively forget how to pronounce the word 'vague'? I have repeatedly heard educated people - including a television journalist tonight - pronounce it so it rhymes with sag. My Merriam-Webster has no alternates listed, just the one with a hard 'a'. I had to grudgingly acquiese to Pe-ANN-ist and HAIR-ass-ment rather than PEE-an-ist and Ha-RASS-ment for Pianist and Harassment because both are listed as acceptable alternates but this is a bridge too far. Is this another "new and improved" pronounciation?

Don't know when these things happened but I just like the Ren and Stimpy reference.

I've had a weird time pronouncing aluminum since I was a little kid. Chatted with a Brit journalist guy in the Boundary Waters at Sea Gull Lake decades ago and loved his Brit pronunciation of aluminum and have used that ever since.

Have tried as hard as I can but I cannot master the Brit pronunciation of jaguar.

I also deliberately mispronounce debris as da-briss. Decades ago (again, this is a reoccurring theme) a charming and fun waitress at First Street Station stopped by with a "Let me clear this de-briss away and than I'll take your orders". Made me laugh and I've been using that ever since which has had many unfun people jump in to correct me.

Things I've learned, grilled oysters can be pretty darn good and raw oysters if dipped in a shallot, wine and vinegar muddle can be fun. Would do both again.

What has happened to you?!?! You are going to walking around with a cane, top hat, and a monocle if you keep this up.

Why does editing a PDF someone sent me have to be this difficult?
An admin (once again) didn't know their actual process. I got it kickstarted, as a non-hired person, but I can't sign the standard employment forms. I don't want to do the free trial, since I've heard that Adobe makes it awfully hard to cancel, and I'm not paying $20/month for an 8-week job.

Is there an easy button I'm missing?

You obviously didn’t have my 9th grade vocal music teacher: aluminum, linoleum, magnesium as a warmup every time.

There is nothing that can upset a brisk neighborhood walk more than realizing you are being stared down by a mannequin on a backyard bench.

I did not look back.

I'd just print it off sign it and scan it
