Little tired of rain everyday but have dodged the crazy amounts north and south of the Twins.

Somebody should boat over and check on @BCClone. Maybe @wxman1 could rent a plane with pontoon floats.

Solid Friday night gathering because as of this writing I just got home. No booze though. Just too much good times and conversation. Although I have to run into work later this morning so looking at around 3 hours of sleep.

But as Wade Garrett in roadhouse said I'll get the the sleep I need when I dead.

Left @ 5:45 this morning for a softball tournament, pretty much the first ones at the diamonds. A little over 16 hours later we returned home, that is bordering on ridiculous. I had a bit of a break though since I took my son up to the Purdy camp.

Air $500, lodging 100-300/night, food 20-100/day, local transportation 10-30/day? Then whatever you want on whatever you are doing. This is strictly a guess.
I mean trips can be pretty economical or whatever price range you prefer.
This would be my guess but I'm not great at traveling or finding deals.

We are usually in the $1000-$1500/person range for a week long vacation, this is without lodging. We have done more road trips in the midwest lately but even if we fly it seems to be in this range.

Trying to schedule some evening paddles next week on days that the weather is supposed to be good and of course there's dinner plans which will be fun, but I'd rather paddle than small talk.

Went owl walkabout at 630 cause sun was out and thought there might be enough light for some photos. Got home (two mile walk) and had sweated through everything I had on. Went long sleeves and long pants because of deep shade and mosquitoes (and ticks).
