Still a tie for first interviews. Told him, when In. doubt dress a notch higher than what you feel you probably should. Told him if he runs a blazer he can always dump it and a tie and spin it down a notch.

Full suits were still the thing back when I was in school. Haven't worn one of those for many yrs. Even hosting nieces weddings went with slacks, shirt, tie.
I went no coat this last interview cycle but I was also being recruited by the 3 interviews I did so I didn't feel the need to necessarily dress up up and it was entirely virtual until the last round. Tie seems pretty non negotiable for finance/accounting roles though.
Every night for the last 2 weeks I have had to log on at 23:00 and verify a process starts and if it doesn't then I start it. I suppose if the person that is supposed to fix the problem had to do that they would already have it fixed. Instead they spent more time the first week trying to pawn off the problem on me instead of addressing it.
Now they still keep coming back and asking me questions about it that I wouldn't know but they should know or be able to figure out.
On the plus side I just remembered that we get MLK day off so I can have another drink (or 10) after I get done. Also better verify I don't have the alarm set for 6 am tomorrow

Honestly I got pretty lucky lol. Once I played my first word, the winning word was the first one to pop into my head.
I've made it in three a couple of times, but five seems to be my fate.
