Appointment TV, The NFL will have worked it's boredom magic on me by then.

For some reason, I had it in my head that the game was ESPN2, so I got home checked for the replay on the app and was perplexed as to why it wasn't there yet. I then bolted awake at 3:30 and thought to myself that stupid game was on Fox, I checked and found the replay going and was irritated at myself for not knowing it the night before. Same thing happened this morning. I recorded about 3/4's last night, but will get the whole thing this afternoon.

That may have been the most fun atmosphere I have been a part of. It just kept rising and rising as the blitzkrieg on Grier continued. It was like a giant party at the end. So much fun! And the lights were cool too.

I was there and I love the atmosphere so much more than under Rhoads, winning helps but also the like trap music they play all the time had everyone dancing even old people. Apparently easier to get hyped to than Van Halen and **** on repeat.
You can tell Campbell pays attention to this site. We are getting everything we wanted and more right now from CMC. I hope he loves it here as much as we love having him. Part of me thinks he feels the same way about ISU. Look at how he embraced Heacock after the game. Enjoying every moment.

I don’t think CMC gives a **** about anything CF outside of his conversations with CW and Blum.

By the way, is there anything better than the Sunday after a big football win? Last October was just 31 days of an entire sports high. And so far this October has been the same thing.

And is there anything more exhausting than a Sunday after a big football win. You'd think that I played a game or something because I'm completely wasted. I brought a friend to the game who hadn't been to one in 20 years and she's not a football fan at all. Apparently she did not wake up until 12:30 this afternoon. I feel somewhat vindicated.

Does anyone happen to know the song that was played in the stadium during the craziness referenced here? I couldn't get my Shazam to work and was hoping someone knew what it was called!

I'm too old to be cool but too young to be old. No idea what songs are called these days.

I had no problem with rushing the field- but - should this be the last one? Should we start expecting wins like this - or at least not be surprised when they happen? We stopped rushing the floor at Hilton - is it time for the same at Jack Trice?

Probably should be the last time this season for sure since we don't play Texas at home. Nobody else left on our schedule this season is worthy.

One of my biggest issues with our fans at football games is for some reason they’re completely silent on defense for First and second down and then make noise for third down. I was watching on tv, but it seemed like they were actually making noise on almost every down, so that was pretty awesome. It would honestly be one of the hardest stadiums to play in if they did that every game.

Also, there was a point, I think early in the second quarter, where Montgomery was just ripping run after run and breaking a **** load of tackles and he came out for a quick breather and the crowd applauded him just like when a basketball player that’s had a great game gets pulled at the end and the crowd recognizes it. That cracked me up a little. Total Iowa State thing to do.

There were definitely some Hilton moments last night. I also noticed the loud cheering when Montgomery went out.

There was also a time in the 2nd or 3rd quarter when things were looking a little shaky. We got one tackle for loss on a 1st down, and the crowd suddenly got really loud going into 2nd down, kind of urging the team to pick it up. That's classic Hilton behavior.

Congratulations. Yours is the first I've seen today. I was happy that no one had said anything about this until you.

Sports are supposed to be fun. Big wins are fun. Rushing the field is fun. I'd much rather have us rush the field more than some stick in the muds think we should. Why would anyone want to take away part of the fun? Seeing that field filled up last night was really cool.

And I don't think we stopped rushing the court at Hilton. If we have another last second win against a great team or a rival, we'll rush the court.

Not sure we are there yet until after our own time in the top ten or after a conference championship.
