Just couldn't get over the hump. As gay as OU is, pretty damn good football team.

Jantz played very well. That last INT wasn't very good but we were basically in desperation mode at that point so chances had to be taken. I wish Knott woulda been out there

Offense is killing the defense. I was not a fan of todays defensive strategy. The defensive startegy works for some teams. OU has to much talent. Just my opinion though. I am not a coach.

The receiver didn't help Jantz out on that pass. He got blown off the route. If he shows any speed and/or toughness, that could have been a TD.

I would've felt a lot better if we could've scored on that last drive..but it was a hard fought game against a very good team. Got a big one next week though.

my thoughts? oklahoma is better than iowa state at football. our offense cannot be effective against a quality defense unless we can establish the run AND pass...such as oklahoma did today. you break off good runs, moves the safeties up, beat the defense over the middle.

We got nothing for playmakers in comparison to OU. It is eye opening watching the athleticism of the two teams. You just almost never see an ISU player make an extraordinary catch, run or pass defense play. We do a good job of getting where we need to be for the most part but that is not nearly enough in this conference.

Great kick by Edwin in the first half, happy for him to make that one.

Somewhere in the U.S.
Offense is just not consistent. Too many drops. Inability to sustain drives.

Defense giving up too many 20+ pass plays. No pressure on qb to speak of. Bend not break defense broke today.

Johnny Walters said it all..."Oklahoma continues to have Iowa State's number"....

In this series Oklahoma with Texas High School talent continues to "Dominate" Iowa State....

The only way to win games like this to get to the next level is to recruit better athletes from texas high school's and if we cant do that we will continue to be dominated by OU.
