Isn't the quandary an ISU win or losing and keeping Kansas from winning the title? It kind of seems like the OP would rather see us lose than let Kansas win the conference.
Not only a win, but a win against what would be a top-10 team and one that has decent seed implications, potentially also allowing us to tie for our most Big 12 wins in the past 18 years.

Not a quandary.

Yeah I'm not sure why the OP used the word quandary.

What am I looking at? Nothing is labeled.

Those are "game scores" from Barttovik.

http://www.barttorvik.com/team.php?team=Texas+Tech

The scores are your percentile relative to the 353 teams in men's college basketball for your performance on a given night. Scoring a 99 means you were better than roughly 99% of other CBB teams that night, so roughly top three or four in the country.

0 = you played like the worst team in the country
100 = you played like the best team in the country

Since the loss in Lawrence, TTU has been obliterating people...

...and gotten nothing but 99 and 100 for game scores.

Their "worst" game was beating Oklahoma, a team fighting to make the tournament, by 12 in Norman. Beating up decent/good teams like that on the road is not easy. That was their worst game of the run, too. TTU has found an extra gear since their trip to Kansas.

They have been playing like a Top 5 team the past few weeks.

That's cool thanks!

Yeah, which I would say the dreadful losses were the home KSU, @Waco/home baylor, @TCU and @KU because they were all lost by 4 points or less.

Somehow I forget how close we were to winning at KU (maybe that's built-in expectation "absorbing" a loss at Phog). Bummer how even 1 more win among any of those and we'd still be in realistic mix to at least tie for the title.

But I don't want to ignore close wins that might've tipped it the other way -- at OU, vs. UT and at OSU weren't slam-dunks.
