Was it made of gold? How long of a fence was it that you hit 4k?

I think it was about 250 feet. If I would have went PVC it would have been nearly double. I checked with the 3 biggest fence installers in DSM.

Most cities in America require a fence for 18 inch or more deepo water. Just call the city to check it out.

My 6 ft fence is locked at all times except when mowing. I have an umbrella insurance policy if accidents happen.

please show me where in my original post where i told them what to do on their own property? or even where i stated that i would call the city on them?
You really don't think that your original question implied any of that? Because if you don't, I think you're among the few that read it that way.

it may have implied that and i guess that's my fault for making you guys assume that. but as it is their freedom to have the pool, it's might freedom to ***** about how trashy it looks.

My brother just moved to a new house. The back of his yard has a privacy fence. The old owner did not like how that neighbor took care of their yard, so he paid his money to put the privacy fence on his yard. Now, I suggest if you don't like looking at "trashy" back yards, put up your own fence instead of wondering if you can make them put up a fence.

You were trying to figure out if there was a rule that would require them to put a fence up because you don't like to look at the pool. Using basic common sense, its pretty easy to infer that you want them to put a fence up (i.e. you want to tell them what to do) which you stated. The only municipal body that would conceivably have a law regarding fences and pools would be the city. Just connecting the obvious dots.
