Starting the thread back up for conference play, can the consensus vote beat the number this year? So far we have been fade material.

2023: 4-5 against the spread
2022: 2-6-1 against the spread

Tough call but I feel like we hold them to 13 or so and score in the 30s. I’ll vote ISU covers. Just need a decent first quarter.

I think Houston is averaging 13 points and we're giving up 9, so the question in my opinion is whether ISU can score 30. I think we can.

Lots of line movement towards ISU since opening. Saw it open anywhere from -11 to -12.5. Vegas not getting much action on HOU cover apparently.

Of the 7 Big 12 conference games last week only one visiting team won (Utah 22-19 over Okie State in Stillwater). I predict a 5th straight conference road win but I'm still keeping my nut cup strapped on tight; ISU 17 Houston 13

I would probably either do that or see if I can get lucky with a live bet at -13.5 ISU.

I sure hope this happens. Tickets on seatgeek are as cheap as $13 (with fees.) Great chance for Texan Cyclones to see ISU in person. Houston is a fun city too. Big and spread out, but fun.
