PFG blocks CycloneFanatic.com forums!!

New as of a week or two ago Principal has blocked all the CF forums. I don't know how many others this has affected, but it is driving me crazy that I can't read through a few threads while I eat my lunch anymore! (Of course, I never read any while I wasn't eating lunch:wink

On top of that Hawkeye Report's message boards are still accessible!

Surprising that they expect you to work at work.

But, I would say that they should apply the blockages without discrimination and make sure all sports related forums are blocked if they are going to block this one.

I would agree with both of these statements, and I thank you for your concern. I do work very hard at work. Which is why I like to enjoy my lunch with a little CF.com from time to time.

I don't believe they specifically blocked this site. I believe they have some tool that tracks the reputation of sites and this one dropped below it. I had also heard that there might have been a virus on this site a couple of weeks ago, so that might be why this site's reputation dropped.

My company just started blocking the site last week due to potential spyware or virus concerns. Only other site I can't get to that I know of is Craigslist.

Such as Hilocki.b virus, a Windows 2010 Defender product? That may have happened. Or they may be forcing a one month hiatus during NCAA and then let you back on.

We found that if we go to google and search for a cyclone fanatic image it will open the page within google images... try it and let me know, but keep it as quiet as possible.

If that ever happened at my job I would resort to using my BlackBerry (did it for four months when I was on temporary assignment and I was very careful about my computer usage).
