Looking for help remembering a mexican restaurant in Ames that closed about 15-20 years ago. Closer to 20 years I'm guessing. NOT O'Mally McGee's. It was a restaurant that used to be in the old Ramada Inn on South Duff. It then closed and Johnny's restaurant was in there. For the life of me the name escapes me. Was really good though.

La Fuente is still around, but much dirtier than it used to be. Used to go all the time, but now it's pretty awful.

Hombres. The old sign in the front is still on display at hickory park in the NW corner.

Yup, that's it. My wife and I had our first date there. Went with friends to watch the ISU - KState football game. It was Thursday night, Dime draws and she decided to drink Margaritas.
