Honestly they need to win this game. The next month after this game all of the games are against boring opponents many fans have never heard of. Hilton has been dead this year and it will only continue to be so if we lose in the only game anybody cares about until Jan. 14th.

Just FWIW, the only tickets remaining to the game are in the "endzones" 33 rows up. I'm crossing my fingers for a sellout.

Iowa plays good defense... but they don't have the shooters that Drake has...

Iowa is well-coached. They'll just pound it inside, get ISU in foul trouble, and score a bunch at the FT line. ISU will stand around chucking up threes, won't get Iowa in foul trouble, and will not score easy points at the line. If the threes go in, ISU will have a chance. If not, that game will make the WBB game last Sunday look like a nailbiter...

I hate to say it, but I see about 68-50 in favor of Iowa

We just plain aren't very good, and in general teams don't shoot the 3 ball as well on the road as they do at home, and that's kinda how we live and die.

Drake on the season from three: 88-223 (.395)
Iowa on the season from three: 95-226 (.420)

Just the facts, Jack.

Of course, Iowa will bring back their leading scorer for this game, and magically continue his suspension afterwards. Nice try on covering up the crime Coach....

Think the court will be flooded too?

I would be surprised if Tucker plays on Friday.

Even if we beat Drake I would have been fairly confident in a loss on Friday.

Lickliter will go after Brackins early and often in hopes to get 2 quick fouls. If that happens, it will be gravy as ISU's offensive game plan will simply be to shop around for the 3-ball. If Craig is not in foul trouble, gets the rock and shoots a decent percentage, we beat the spread and have a chance at a close win.

I don't think Iowa is good enough to embarrass us, but I'm seeing a score in the 66-57 range in favor of Iowa.

We find someone to score besides Garrett and Brackins, and can't win, Iowa loses their top scorer and wins going away. I thought the football team found enough unique ways to lose, but it looks like the mbb team is doing their part too. I'm not looking forward to the game at all, I smell an embarassment, and to think I used to be an optimist.

And you'd be surprised too that Iowa would flood their field to slow us down - Iowa 'anything for a win' Hawkeye Jon Miller.

Please stop being an embarrassment to our fan base. Iowa didn't flood the field unless they can have it rain 3 or 4 inches on a Thursday and Friday before the game. Also Tucker won't play, I don't think Lick is like that.
