This becomes the biggest game of the year. Defend home court, win at TCU that is at least 22 wins. I think wvu is beatable there as well, even though they are playing much better.

I really think the only games that we could lose the rest of the regular season would be Monday in Stillwater, and then at kstate. Baylor could be tough, if they get their act together, but there is no indication of that happening.

In my opinion, winning this game gets us back on track for a 4, 5 or 6 seed. Losing and we spiral down to the dreaded 7, 8, 9, 10 seed line. Big game.

We need to get Spangler in foul trouble. He creates many second chance opportunities that will burn us. I'm glad it's at home but I'm not very confident. We're 7th in the Big XII. Yikes.

And our conference schedule was front loaded. We are done with ku and will be done with ou saturday. Those are the top two teams in the league, and we had them right away. Add in ut and baylor when they were riding high, and kstate, and we have played all of the top teams, NCAA teams, in the league in less than half our conference games.

We get the back half of the schedule to get healthy with two games against tcu and wvu.

Man, it is like people don't think in their effort to be negative.

I think that having home court will be huge for us in this game. ISU is fully capable of beating the Sooners by 10-15 or more if we play well at home. Just like last year, we lose on the road to OU, but we win big at home. Remember, we beat OU by 19 at home last year.

I agree, I think we get some calls on Spangler and continue lighting it up from downtown.

I agree... Georges needs to go at him early and often... if we get him out then we can really enforce what we wanna do vs them...

2 predictions:

1. We win by 8-10 points
2. Buddy Hield will make my blood pressure spike. He pisses me off more than anyone in the league. Guy can't shoot at all to save his life a few seasons back and now all the sudden he's JJ Reddick from behind the arc.

My contribution to this thread is that Boomer Sooner makes me want to gouge my ears out.

...and I predict ISU will win the game.

No current big 12 team outside of Kansas has won in Hilton since Hoiberg's first year...... The win is all but guaranteed. I'll predict we win by 12.

Last year we lost to OU in Norman by about 20, and beat them by about 20 at Hilton (and it wasn't even that close IIRC). This isn't last, but I think we win comfortably in Ames. 88-76 ISU

I'm more worried about this game then I am @Stillwater (at least as of today). Still think Hilton prevails, but this is a nailbiter.

ISU- 79
OU- 76

I think ISU wins by ten and basically controls the game for most of it. It feels like they have shaken off that losing streak. KSU they looked a little better and then against KU looked even better so I think this is one I those games where everything clicks at home. I think it will propel them on a great stretch run

OU is splanglerfied as he fouls out when RS pulls Hogues shorts down and is called for a flagrant 2 by Phantom ref Higgins. 83-76 Good Guys.
