Another terrible at bat for Swanson. He should move down to 8th in the batting order.
He cost one run for the Cubs. Hoerner’s single would have scored 2 runs if the bunt was successful.

I love that the only nit people can find to pick right now is that the career average hitting elite defensive SS is not hitting that well.
Well our closer just had his knee drained and 3B is unsettled but winning fixes a lot.
Diamondbacks Eugenio Suarez killed someone other than the Cubs yesterday. 4-4 for 4 HR's vs the Braves last night.

9 of his 10 HR's being against the Cubs and Braves makes me feel better than 5 of his 6 HR's being against the Cubs
BN noted that Tommy said Alcantara and hinted that it could be a possible call up for Busch? Wouldn’t Ballestareos be the obvious option if Busch got hurt?
Neither would 13 other guys on the 40 but but like Alcantara none of the are going play first if Busch really is hurt either. I think having to play Turner everyday would constitute needing to make a move.
