I can see the only way ISU is going to win is to play five guards all under five feet. Small ball.
Yeah we didn't lose this game because of the referees. We lost this game because of the decision to go zone and ineffective half-court offense.
The guy made as many Sweet 16s as Fred Hoiberg. And he has a recruiting class coming in that was better than anything Fred put together. Let's give the "fire Prohm" stuff a rest. Jesus.

Our guys either play too laid back, or they try to force it. The moments of playing with urgency, but within control, are few and far between. We've seen glimpses, but never anything consistent. We have no margin for error because we've lost every big game, and a couple of bad ones. Tonight's play was inexcusable.
Prohm seems to say the right things, but his teams don't show it consistently enough. Put up or shut up. There's no substitute for actually doing something. This team has guys who have fought for this program, but they aren't getting enough help with how to put it together. We do have major flaws with the roster, but where is the killer instinct? Where's the desire to put the pedal down for 40 freaking minutes and put teams away? If we just played more relentlessly, within the same system we have this year, we'd have at least 4 more wins, possibly 5.
I'm incredibly frustrated with this whole season. We have let every opportunity slip away but it seems like Prohm and the players are OK with it, because "we'll get those wins eventually." Even Monte said (AGAIN) that we didn't lose to a better team in Vandy, but "we let it slip away." Shut your mouth and win the games. Words mean nothing in this business.

I said this weeks ago and was thrown every dislike and disagree. The great thing is that guy that hired the likes of Mcdermott, Chizik, Rhoads, Prohm was given a 10 year extension.
We didn't do anything to draw fouls. WV had to think this was the easiest game they played all year defensively. Unforced turnovers, missed layups because of stupid passes, dribble til you have to chuck one up. We put zero pressure on their defense.
Where did Holden go? Designed some lob plays for him and then don't let him in the game... Just sucks the momentum out of our own team.
