Good question. Maybe the coach will tell us in the post game.
I know we don't have an inside presence but with Monte, Naz, and Burton - it's insane that we are so bad in an actual half court offense. If we don't shoot an above average 3 PT %, we are in deep, deep trouble each game.
At some point this has to land on Pollard as well. It will be interesting to see if he continues to ransom basketball season-ticket holders.
I posted this in the other thread, and it pertains to things like not playing the one player that has proven to change things down low...
If his post-game is something about how he'll need to look at the tape for why he did or didn't do this or that, I hope someone asks him why he didn't just try those mentioned instead of wondering about it, because there needs to be an explanation.
Lol. Our 2010-11 team would have been sweet 16 bound with that road they had last year. Also, 2 good players isn't going to get it done,

The fact in front of us is we're not getting better, and in fact worse. The substitution patterns don't make sense. Monte Morris played OFF-GUARD most of the night. Burton played point guard a lot. Let that sink in.
In general, there's no rhyme or reason to a lot of what we do. It's unorganized offense, degenerating defense, and poor principles as evidenced by big time struggles with ball screens and simple decision making.
Prohm, at this point, is the worst coach in the conference - at best, in a tie with Beard.

And you will look like some sort of genius. I've been nervous about the game in Austin next week all season, and after getting rung up on Saturday it's going to be hard to see this team pull something together vs. a last place team with plenty of raw ability and nothing to lose.
I just don't get the player rotations or what he is trying to do with them and the love for Babb. There is no reason Babb should be on the floor let alone being the PG. Then there is Young who may not me perfect but makes good things happen when he is on the floor. Its like he is held to a higher standard than the other players who keep making mistakes.

Very disappointed. I am hopeful for the future, and even holding out hope for this year yet, but man what a difference from the last 3+ years. What happened to the 'never quit' attitude that we had the last few years? Something is missing. The talent is there, but something is just not clicking with this team. I don't care if we are playing #1 or #300 at home - we should expect to win. We had that in the Hoiball days, and even had it last year.
Prohm needs to find some way to not only light a fire under the players, but also get Cyclone fans on his side - fire up the fanbase somehow.
