FIFY. Their pass defense might be worse than WVU

Looking at the numbers they are allowing 7.55 yds per pass attempt vs real teams. This would rank opposing offenses as the 53rd best amongst other NCAA teams. This doesn't suggest a real strong pass defense.

Maybe opposing offenses find it hard to run so they pass more but then if they were really stout vs the pass you would expect a lower efficiency.

ISU is 19th at 8.8yds/att. Coincidentally UCF is ranked 20th which surprises me.

Thank you all for kind words. I feel bad for even bring my bad news to a gameday thread which should be all about the positive.

Lots of people have gone through what I am now. This is my first experience with it and confirm it sucks. I haven't slept much since getting the news.

Losing my job sucks but losing the relationships with my colleagues is even more crushing. I work with amazing people. One who is a supervisor role is in her early 20's with 2 young kids so feel for her more than myself.

BYU has a win @ SMU (ACC), and Iowa State has a win @ Iowa (B1G). That will help both of those teams with the Committee (regardless of what the Gameday Clowns say). If the Cougars and Cyclones both keep winning it is not only good for each of those two teams but for the Big XII as a whole. Let's Go State! Roll the Knights!

Yep, they were already posturing for the potential that the Big 12 has 1 undefeated team and a 1 loss team since every SEC team already has 1 loss. Saban said something along the lines that you can't justify a 1 loss Big 12 team in the playoffs over a 2 loss Georgia.

Get used to ESecPN being this way going forward. They have bet the house on the SEC and will do anything they can to hype them up to protect their interests.

They are correct, unless we get a lot of upsets from the SEC and B10, the B12 is only getting their champion into the playoff. Hell Saban was pushing for a strength of schedule component this morning. The SEC is going to get 4 teams in, the question is can the B10 also get four teams and how many does the ACC get?

If I was guessing I would say it will break down like this.

SEC 4 bids
B10 3 bids
ACC 2 bids
B12 1 bid
ND 1 bid
G5 1 bid
